Using as attention getter for my classroom of first graders. Sounds are clear and crisp. If kids aren't to loud they do hear it. Wish it could be a tad louder as classrooms tend to be fairly big rooms. Those closest to it can here it well. If room is noisy kids further way don't always here it right away.

We did get a cover so that might be helping but this the first (out of 3) that we've bought that actually works consistently. The ring is also loud enough to hear throughout the house.
