I'm a DIY who have wired my house many times. One thing I don't look forward to is to wire nut multiple wires together in electrical boxes. It's hard work on the fingers and I'm never sure the connections are secure enough. I saw these wire nut twisters on a YouTube short and I knew I had to get one. They work on 1/4" drills, winged and wingless wire nuts, and all the common wire nut sizes. I made several connections with these wire nut twisters, and they worked as advertised. The wire connections are tight with 4 or 5 wire combinations. The wire nuts will not twist if the wire nut is the wrong size. The wire nut twisters will spin and spin with not enough wires to grab. I thought this was very useful too.

I wish I took a photo of the product before writing a review but it’s at my job site so I’ll just have to write it out without my own photo. First I’d like to point out that it’s partly my fault for not understanding that the large wire nut twister and smaller one were not going to both be made of steel, the bigger one is made of a cheap plastic that seems flimsy and prone to breaking. Definitely not what I hoped for. Smaller one is definitely more durable BUT does NOT!!! I repeat it does NOT FIT SOME IMPACT DRIVERS!!!! The 1/4inch shank is just way too small. It’ll work on some dewalt drivers but doesn’t fit on any of my Milwaukee stuff. Definitely something to keep in mind. Would probably have to use a bit holder with it. Other than the material and form factor, they do their job as intended, twisting wire nuts and to a certain extent, solid wire (not stranded), and it does not do more than 3-4 solid wires at a time. It is somewhat fast, however I don’t know if it’s really much of a time saver. All in all, I really wish this was cheaper. And if not, then at least for the large plastic twister to be made of the same stainless steel/aluminum material to feel a bit more premium. Wouldn’t really say it’s worth the money but everyone’s opinion is different

I'm so glad that technology shows me these tools on a video or i would still be doing oven wiring my hands! Call it what you want but over time you'll start developing dry skin on your fingers where you tighten wirecaps at.
