The media could not be loaded. I have bought a few ukuleles prior to this and still have some them to share with my kids. I was looking at this uke because I thought it was nice looking with a unique design. That time it was $49.99. I read the reviews and was hesitant to buy it. So I went with a more expensive brand on sale for $104 with tax. Then 2 days ago, I came across this in my saved cart on sale for $34.99 before tax. I thought it was worth a try despite issues that other reviews stated. I just received this yesterday and at first look, I thought it was on a cheaply made side, though it looked just as shown in the photos. It came in a lightly padded bag with all accessories as advertised. After tuning the strings, I tried the sound and was pleased with the side sound hole as I could hear better warm sound louder than from the front sound hole of other usual ukes. The craftsmanship I would say is fine for the price, especially the fret ends that were all dressed and very smooth, unlike those of other reviewers. The seller must have improved this due to the reviews. The gig bag is well made of probably waterproof fabric, light with about 5 mm padding thickness that should provide enough protection when traveling with. The shoulder strap is of good quality. At first glance, I thought the outer wood grain look could be wall paper like vinyl but after looking inside of the uke, it could be all wood, laminated of some sort I am not sure. The uke is light weight and gives good moderate loud voice for a small instrument. For this price, it is such a good deal with all that came together. I would recommend this for beginners or even regular players not to worry about dinging it. After playing for awhile, I started to love it even more than some of my more expensive ones. By the way, I am pretty new to ukulele but have been playing guitar for years on and off and still an amateur.

This is not an expensive ukulele. I carry it around in my car during the summer heat and winter cold. If anything goes wrong, I'm not out much. It plays easily, sounds great and holds it's tuning. Couldn't ask for more regardless of price.

I bought for my grandson for Christmas he likes playing mine when he comes to.visit so now he will have one of his own and we can play together upon arrival i removed from the packing was boxed well and arrived very quickly thank you Amazon ukulele is beautiful nice low action on the strings strings are pretty good did not have any issues with frets ,tuners are smooth and tight stretching the strings has not been a problem my only complaint is it has strap buttons but comes with a sound hole strap over all great little ukulele. You will need a tuner since not provided in the package nice beginners medium level i would recommend to anyone

This thing sounds hollow and it weighs next to nothing. I feel like if I dropped it, it would shatter into a hundred pieces. It has no attention to detail and is clearly made of cheap material. Paint was applied without care, with several spots along the neck having streaks from the paint used on the body. The strings it comes with are very stiff and hard to play with. One of the caps for the holes on the side to show frets was just missing when I got it. It lacks any kind of finish, so it is covered with pocked holes and has a grainy/rough texture. Suffice to say all this it still functions as a ukulele and I did learn a few things on it, however it seems like bait for inexperienced buyers.

Compared to my other ukulele, it is clear that this one is very good quality for beginners. The wood and strings feel a lot softer than other regular basic ukuleles. Love it!
