This 2-pack, one inch diameter grab bar kit seems a good deal. The quality of finish and detailing of the stainless steel is good. The knurling on each handle is deep, so it gives a positive grip when wet. The tubing is only one inch (I thought it was going to be 1-1/4”), so anyone can get their hands around it. All hardware is provided. The concealment of the screws by the escutcheon is good. They easily snap onto a plate over the screws with enough grab for a secure hold. It’s not waterproof, but does it need to be - I don’t know. They unfortunately stamped each escutcheon on the face with “SUS304”, just to let everyone know it’s made from 304 stainless steel. Another unfortunate design is that the holes in the base plate for the screws to secure it all to the wall, are located in such a way as to not allow all three screws to fit on the width of the edge of a 2x4. Ideally, I want my grab bars to be most secure by screwing entirely into wood framing. Here you’ll only get two in per side, unless you drill your own hole in the plate for the third. Fortunately for me, I’ve planned ahead and put my 2x4s on the flat.

I was honestly torn between rating these 4 or 5. They are great bars. I really liked that they had the textured center because we put it in the shower and having that helps keep it from being slippery with wet hands. Our old bar was just solid metal and it was dangerous for my elderly mother. These are extremely affordable, especially for 2 of them. I just wish they were a bit bigger. They are very thin so there isn't a lot to grip. That is literally the only reason I rated 4 instead of 5 stars. I don't have any other complaints. They are well made, they are much safer than non textured bars and you get everything you need to install. I still would highly recommend these to anyone that needs bars

One of the questions they asked the last time I went to the doctor for my annual health checkup, is whether I have hand grips around the house. That really got me to thinking. My wife loves to soak in the tub but usually ends up showering in it. As she's gotten older, stepping over the side is becoming problematic with her back problems. Slipping and falling on a wet tile bathroom floor is out of the question -- not going to let it happen on my watch. I looked at the ones that have a rubber grip, but these are anti-slip and can be firmly gripped. And they came two to a pack. The Winllingal Grab Bars are plenty long enough and sturdy enough to hold her weight if they are well anchored. I have grab bars installed in our baths and now these in our hall. The only tricky part is getting them to stay fast in drywall, but with some butterfly anchors, I was able to get them up. It's best to be safe. I've seen too many old folks including my parents who were injured in falls in their elder years. These will be a good start. I fully expect to have them installed all over the house, anywhere a loved one may need a helping hand.

My wife and I have drifted into senior territory and have had a couple minor bathroom falls already. So, I got busy and ordered and installed these grab bars. Luckily the studs behind the shower tile are on 16-inch centers, so these were relatively easy to install. I happened to have some diamond drill bits, so the hardest part, drilling through the tile, was not hard at all. I borrowed an idea from another reviewer and drilled an extra hole in the mounting plate so that I could get two screws into each stud. Now the bars are extremely sturdy. They look good and the knurled portion provides a firm grip. When I ordered them, they were $23.99 less 10%, a great value for 2 grab bars.

WinllingalGrabBars: These two safety grab bars will be part of a safety hand hold/ grab for us to use as we're existing the bath tub, and showers. The screws are weak, I replaced them with a longer screws.
