This rack will work, but it's more flimsy than I thought it would be. I like to prepare ribs on 3/4 sheet pans and I got the rack to lift them up so they will dry evenly. The rack sags in the middle; I wish is had more support feet.

I bake a lot of cookies. This sturdy, oversized rack is great for cooling them as they come off the cookie sheets. It replaces two smaller, skimpy racks. I like the grid. It provides good support for soft freshly baked cookies. My daughter uses this rack on a jelly roll pan when making bacon in the oven. It is a great addition to any working kitchen.

We have an older Wilton rack just like this...WELL, just like the picture. Ours has 25 squares across the shorter side, just as pictured on the listing. But the one we got has only 17 squares, and thus much bigger "holes." The squares on ours are about 1/2" square, while the new ones are about 1" square (actually rectangular, but much bigger). The smaller holes are much more useful to us. When ordering this, I counted the holes in the picture to make sure it was the same as ours, but what we got was the one with the bigger holes. Oddly, it came packaged with a picture of a rack with the smaller holes--the one we wanted! So it's a good rack if you don't mind the larger holes.

My wife and I have been trying to find this type of cooling grid for quite some time. Everything that we could find locally was very cheaply made or did not have the cross bars. The Wilton cooling grid is about the same quality as the one that we purchased about 25 years ago. This is also good for cooking bacon/Turkey bacon in the oven because they fit right into her cookie sheets

I had high hopes for this cooling grid as I bake a lot and needed a larger cooling grid. This grid needs three sets of legs to make it more stable. Filled with cookies, the grid is very stable. But if I put two or three loaves of bread on it to cool, it sags in the middle. C'mon, Wilton, spend a few cents more per grid to put on two extra supports in the middle and you'll have a 5-star cooling grid. I recommend this grid only for cooling cookies and other light-weight baked goods, but not for cooling loaves of bread or anything that doesn't span the distance between the two sets of legs.

Now that I bake for others as well as for us this item is a must! I have smaller ones but having the longer cooling rack with the square grates is much better. Plus, I can use it as a base for the 3 rack stackable wilton product. I recommend this for anyone who bakes sheet cakes.

Chrome plated cooling racks are hard to find. This one was just the right size and I really like the chrom plate. It is easy to clean and looks great. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a chrom plated cooling rack.
