I have had this basket for a couple of months now and it has withheld pretty well. I have loaded up the basket for a couple of trips and have had no issues. Occasionally, a low noise will happen but I believe its depending on which way the wind is hitting the front of the basket. It was not hard to set up but it is a little heavy. It is pretty sturdy and I have received a lot of compliments on it. I have a 2019 Rav 4 and it sits nicely on the top. The net it comes with also is amazing. Easy to put together, held all my camping gear, sustained 80mph speeds from NE to CO, and looks nice. The downside is that if your rails are not large enough, then the mounting option is limited to having the screw tips face up. This will potentially damage gear. I was able to modify the gap with spare rubber blocks I shaped down to size to get the fitment right. This way I was able to keep the screws facing down. Noise isn’t terrible, but you can definitely hear it. Overall, not bad for the price. Still, if you have the money get a name brand. ... show more

Great roof rack. Perfect fit for 2001 pathfinder.Very easy installation, very solid, one person job, and Paint looks like it will hold up for years. Chose after reading reviews on Amazon. Rust was a minor concern from some reviews on connecting areas so with this in mind I used 3m Marine sealant5200 from amazon on those points. Used this 5200 sealant to secure water pumps in boat hull for years so just an idea if future rust is a concern. ... show more

Like: really high quality of materials and assembly, everything firs together perfectly. Dislike: it is not designed for curved railings! I spent almost 2 hours trying to fit it to my RAV4 with curved railings on top. If managed to do it empirically, there is no instruction how to do it. Initially extremely pleased with this purchase - that said, the front fairing has started to rust and I can't find a replacement. Will update the review if a replacement part comes available or tr the company will replace. UPDATE - the Customer Service for this group is exceptional!!! I let them know what was going on and they responded within a few hours. They then followed up the conversation with tracking information on replacement parts. I only needed the front piece, but they provided me with a complete kit! Will absolutely buy from this vendor again and truly appreciate their attention to quickly resolve my issue. The rack is perfect size on top of 5th gen 4runner. It sits right behind sunroof and over the antenna not hindering lift gate. Installation was a breeze. I sealed all the joints using black silicon caulk I picked up from home depot. Someone posted somewhere vibration noise from front deflectoe pannel so I squeezed line of caulk into the space from inside so no air travels through that thin sleeve. Also instead of using grease they provided to prevent rust I sprayed a can of clear rustoleum top coat over entire rack. Align the crossbars to sit between two rails of the rack and set the anchors so that middle rack bars sit on the crossbars and anchors also sit on the crossbars. This way you have 4 points of support over the cross bars. 8 total with back anchors same way. I'll see if I can post a video but I love the looks and super quiet. Great buy. ... show more
