I’ve been disappointed with prior ‘butterfly’ mixes I’ve planted in the past — too few seeds germinate to bother. But these couldn’t be more different. Within THREE days, the first few seeds started germinating indoors under my plant lights! Now at less than 5 weeks, so many seeds seem to have germinated and are taking off, I already need to partition them before going outdoors. I’m confident they’ll do well and flower in my containers after our current heat wave is over! I’ll update with pictures later.

Still undecided. I bought these June 18th and planted them right away. They germinated quickly. The growth looks full and healthy HOWEVER still no flowers. It’s late July and no signs of anything. I don’t know how long it takes to flower, so I’ll wait some more and provide an update in August. Reading the negative reviews, many experienced the same. Fingers crossed. These are beautiful I will definitely be buying more. The photos taken are 3 months exactly from when I planted the seeds in early May. I live in SW Idaho. Love seeing what blooms every week! They sprouted quickly and i was starting to feel discouraged as there wasn’t much change, then they just took off and started growing and blooming like crazy.

The description says annual and perennial flowers. NONE of mine came back, nor did the ones I gave to others. They were pretty when they bloomed the first time and there was a variety of flowers. They grew fast and were easy to get started. Only gave it 3 stars because I was looking for perennial flowers and seems a waste of money and time to have to plant every year. The best one in this mix was 1 flowering tobacco plant. Of all the seeds, there was only 1 of those.

These are WONDERFUL!!!! Can't say enough about these seeds. Bought two varieties and planted them in early spring. It is now late summer and we STILL have lots and lots of blooms. We have a large bed (30 foot and raised) in our backyard and wanted color - and something easy - and these did exactly what we wanted. Have only had to water them a handful of times and, if anything, they are too big - some of them had to be tied up a bit. Everyone who has visited has commented on these flowers - and how wonderful they look. These are wild flowers, so they are not perfectly tame and are a little, well, wild looking ... but the colors and number of blooms is beyond impressive. YES, we are buying more for next year. YES, if I could give them 6 or 7 or even 10 stars I would.

I'm writing this review about 70 days after planting the seeds — and today, I saw the first flower bloom! These wildflowers are very easy to grow and beginner-friendly. Although they’re ideal for gardens or backyards, I planted them in pots on my apartment balcony and they’ve done really well. I wasn’t sure if they’d thrive in containers, but with enough sunlight and consistent watering, they grew beautifully. I watered them daily for the first 45 days, then switched to every other day, making sure the soil stayed slightly moist and never completely dried out. Great choice for anyone new to gardening or with limited space!
