I’ve been disappointed with prior ‘butterfly’ mixes I’ve planted in the past — too few seeds germinate to bother. But these couldn’t be more different. Within THREE days, the first few seeds started germinating indoors under my plant lights! Now at less than 5 weeks, so many seeds seem to have germinated and are taking off, I already need to partition them before going outdoors. Why did you pick this product vs others?: I literally threw down some topsoil and sprinkled half the seeds and hoped for the best. I was shocked to have a pretty little garden grow. I even used the second half the next year and the same, pretty flowers growing! I watered throughly.

At first I didn’t think I would see a turn out the first year based on other reviews but this is in zone 9B planted at end of March and I could be happier!! A few things, 1. These plants and I have been through the wringer this year, this space was previously all overgrown ferns and as you can see one side is getting more sun than the other, so they would probably be twice as big with full sun, we had a torrential downpour when they were about 6” tall and ita been a struggle with moisture control ever since 2. The pictures do not do the blooms justice they’re so colorful and perfect. 3. I should’ve used netting to help keep them straight but waited too long and didn’t think I’d be this successful with them. Glad I purchased this brand. ... show more

**GORGEOUS BLOOMS!!** I love this flower seed mix! The colors are bright & beautiful with many varieties. I tossed out some seeds in late April (SoCal - zone 9) and they began sprouting in 9 days. By mid-April the first set of flowers started to bloom and every week a new flower type popped up. The description says annual and perennial flowers. NONE of mine came back, nor did the ones I gave to others. They were pretty when they bloomed the first time and there was a variety of flowers. They grew fast and were easy to get started. Only gave it 3 stars because I was looking for perennial flowers and seems a waste of money and time to have to plant every year.
