I needed one of the smart lock for my kids to be able to unlock the door without the need of a physical key when they return back from school. Installation was a breeze and I did not need any professional help or complicated wiring. What truly sets this smart lock apart is its versatility in access control. The media could not be loaded. Finally! I've been wanting a smart lock for quite awhile. Most of these locks require an expensive hub to go along with it. Not this lock! It easily hooks up to your Wifi using the Smart Life or Tuya app. I am surprised with all the features this lock has for its price. You get your standard key, but you also get two keycards that you can program to your door lock. You can input a passcode if you wish as well. Passcodes are great for temporary use. You can set a passcode to be valid for 1 days or 1 year. Its all controllable within the app. My absolute favorite way to unlock this smart door lock is with my fingerprint! I always have my fingers on me so this is my preferred way to enter and exit my home. If someone else in your house accesses the door lock you will get a message on your phone logging the date and time. You can add new members to your household and assign a fingerprint to their account so you know exactly who is coming and going at all times. This may be bad news for teenagers trying to sneak out or back in. The one feature I like the most is automatic door locking. I have a bad habit of leaving my doors unlocked. What prompted me to look for an automatic lock was a very intoxicated gentleman ended up at the wrong house and walked right in. Luckily, nothing happened but I knew at that point I was just lucky and next time I might not be so lucky. This door lock will automatically trigger the deadbolt in under a minute if you haven't locked the door already. Overall this is a pretty awesome smart lock. I wished I had found this product sooner. I’m all for smart devices… but when we went to install this on our door, we realized that you have to download their specific app. We couldn’t find instructions in just adding it to our security app like the old one. It also remembers your finger prints. I have too much hesitation about using this device on the entrance to my home to move forward with the install. It is made in China… uses your finger prints… used WiFi or Bluetooth to connect to your phone through a specific app just for this thing. It doesn’t give me the most comfortable feeling so it’s not going on the house. It’s pretty though. ... show more

It’s nice that you can use key, fingerprint, key code or rf card to unlock. Very easy and convenient to unlock the door. Auto lock feature is pretty cool. Make sure to reset to factory and reset admin code. When doorbell is rung you are able to unlocked remotely. Overall satisfied.

Does it work, yes is it easy to get it setup, no it wasn't. This took me quiet a while like a hour to get hooked up to the wifi and codes. The fingerprint reader does a good job and will hold a whole family plus. Default setting has it locking automatically within seconds of unlocking so unless you shut the door quickly you have to unlock again so change that.
