The media could not be loaded. If you set your expectations accordingly, you'll be very satisfied with this projector. This is after all, a budget projector, not a high end home theater projector. It is great for back yard movie night, travelling, and any other circumstance under which you want the big screen experience without spending a lot of money or risking delicate high end equipment outdoors or on the road. In my video review, I compare it side by side with an older budget projector with very similar features. They're nearly indistinguishable, feature-wise, with the following notable differences: USB connection from iPhone XS: This one worked reliably with my old non-OEM cable, the older projector did not. (see pics) Native resolution: Although the manual does no mention the specific native resolution, the listing shows a photo stating this is better than "other" projectors with only 480p native resolution. The QKK that I compared it to has a native resolution of 720p and appeared to be pushing more pixels than this one. Based on those two facts, I estimate its native resolution to be somewhere between 480p and 720p. Not amazing but also not bad for this price point. Of course, it accepts 1080p input from various sources, so compatibility with true HD sources like Roku/Firestick/Chromecast is not n issue. Bult-in speaker: maximum volume was adequate, meaning that dialogue could be heard above the noise of the cooling fan (which is less loud than a traditional bulb projector). I recommend using the line out jack to connect to an external speaker of higher quality if you have one. Most bluetooth speakers sound better by comparison and have a line in so all you need is a stereo mini cable to divert the sound to that. The built-in speaker on this seemed to have a high-pass filter that eliminated ambient noises in the video of a higher pitch, like crickets in the campfire scene of my sample video. (See the video) Brightness: They're about the same. Neither is suited for viewing in anything other than darkness. I have an InFocus portable conference room projector rated at 1200-1500 ANSI Lumens. The brightness of this projector is on par with that. The Lux rating in the title is meaningless, in my opinion and certainly does not translate to ANSI Lumens, which is the standard for measuring the brightness of a projector. Bonuses: Mine came with a 100" screen and command-style hooks to wall mount it with. I didn't test it out yet, but it appears to be usable for rear projection as well. basically, semi-transparent white nylon cloth, but probably better than projecting onto a wall that's anything other than white and empty. Also included is a cleaning kit for removing dust from the projection element through a trap door on the projector. I can't say I've ever had need to do such a thing, but it's nice to know they've provided a means to do it that doesn't require disassembly. An HDMI cable and a composite AV cable are also included. Combine this projector with an HDMI streaming stick of your choice and you have a portable home theater that makes for a fun movie night outdoors or on the go. ... show more

This is the first projector we’ve bought for our home, and it’s been a lot of fun to use it. It gives a lot of flexibility both in regard to where we watch things and how. With a mini projector like this, it’s easy to watch shows in different rooms of the house if we just have a space of blank wall. But we are really looking forward to using this outdoors as well. I’ve tried it out with mirroring both from a PC and from an iPhone, and both work well. On that note, it did take me some time to figure out how to connect these different devices, but the instruction booklets were surprisingly clear and helpful. ... show more

    • wonderful projector, easy to use, travel friendly
This little projector is awesome! I wasn't sure what to expect, but wanted something fun for my family and this has more than surprised me! The picture quality is GREAT no matter what you project it on (we have done the included screen, a sheet, the wall in our home...) and you are able to adjust tilt and focus with two little manual knobs! Depending on how far from the screen/wall you place the projector will determine the size of the screen (further away is bigger viewing area!) and the little feet underneath are able to be heightned or lowered to make sure it's just the right placement/height! The sound from the actual projector will definitely work in a smaller space, but we usually hook it to a bluetooth speaker. We have connected this with hdmi, and with bluetooth and both work really well and are user-friendly and quick to set up! You can also play media using a memory card or usb as well, though I have not done those yet as I haven't needed to. I would definitely buy this again and plan on getting one for a family member as a gift! ... show more

Got this mostly for taking camping with the fam and nephews. Figured it would be cool to have a bit of a movie night while camping. This thing shines against the tent perfectly. Sound isn't amazing but you can hook up a bluetooth speaker, headphones, etc and its just great. It's not a high end projector but nobody buying it is looking for that. It's compact, it works, and its fun! Definitely for those who like to have a little movie night on adventures, or even if you want to project a picture onto a larger format for an art project. The media could not be loaded. The projector is pretty good. Picture quality is better than I expected it to be. Sound is decent. Some shows/movies can be fairly quiet. The reason for three stars is that they claimed to be able to cast from phone or other devices but that feature does not work. I contacted using the email they provide and received no response. I ended up having to take my chromecast and fire stick from my other TVs and plugging it in whenever I want to use this which is pretty inconvenient. I am debating returning the product since I paid primarily for the feature that does not work and I shouldn’t have to purchase other products for this to work. Without the chromecast or fire stick plugged into it, the projector is useless. ... show more

This is a fantastic generic project at this price point. Of course I don't expect the picture quality to be as good as those more expensive name-brand projector. The sound quality from the built-in speaker is not as good but it's acceptable for us (we are not audiophile anyway). For those looking for better sound quality, you can always plug it in a speaker or connect via Bluetooth for speaker. For the money this little projector has saved my butt, my 55 inch TV broke, and guess what I'm broke, so I can't afford another big tv at the moment so I bought this in hopes it would replace the small laptop I was watching. And it's surprisingly has been a huge hit with me and my family, we've gone outside watched movies on the side of the house and the kids loved it, I had a small issue and reached out to customer service from the seller and it was exceptional they fixed my issue right away!
