The most important thing about this bed rail is it is not huge but just big enough to easily pull yourself up without straining your arm. I have a very soft bed and it is high. Love the handy large pocket where I can put my phone, glasses, book, etc. Very pleased!

We bought this product for an elderly adult who had broken her hip, and needed help getting to a sitting position and then out of bed. It took almost an hour to assemble the product because the pieces did not fit nicely together. The tool to screw in the two side screws was just an L shaped tool about three inches long. instead of using a regular screwdriver. I had to use all of my weight on a tile floor to get the pieces together. However, it does seem sturdy at this point. We are anxious to see how the product will work for her each night and morning.
