I bought two of these fans on prime days for two bedrooms on opposite ends of my house which both are on the corners of a ranch home and tend to stay warm in the summer and cold in the winter. I should mention I live in Michigan. So we can go from lows in the teens in the winter to up to nineties in the summer. I am also very proficient at DIY and have successfully changed out lights and ceiling fans so I did not think this would be a hard project. I found the initial instructions easy to follow and didn’t have any issues putting the fans together. But when I went to turn the light on - nothing. I was confident I had wired everything correctly. So I took the fan down and checked everything. It looked fine. So I tried again. Nothing. After messing around for about 1/2 a day, I decided I needed to call an electrician. They figured they could do it as a service call. They were here for 2 1/2 hours. On one fan after almost two hours, we finally figured out that the connection to the led light wasn’t working. Once he rewired that, we were able to get the light working and after some trial and error were able to get the remote to sync. We are still not sure what combination of buttons worked to get it to sync. On the second one, we were only able to get the light to work. I reached out to their support email in the manual. I relayed everything we had tried and they did reply right away. But with the same information that is in the manual and on the video here in Amazon. They offered to refund my purchase. And also wanted to ensure that I was a satisfied customer and offered to refund the purchase of both fans or send me another fan to try. I told them that I would be willing to try another fan since I really wanted a fan in both rooms. They sent another fan immediately and installed it and it worked. Even with the time zone delays they were extremely helpful and I was very happy with my purchase and fans.

The media could not be loaded. The fan was just installed and runs well. It puts off some good wind and cools the room down. The remote and app work well. So far so good. I bought and installed 1 black and 1 white fan.

This fan is easy to install. The brightness is sufficient for normal household use, and I like that it has a dimmer. The fan performs well, too, without too much noise. The light holds steady without flickering. I intensely dislike, however, that there are no controls on the unit itself. Only being able to control it by remote or by app is obnoxious. If the app stops being supported and if the remote breaks or is lost, then I now have a ceiling light/fan mounted on my ceiling that is useless.

I was unimpressed with this fan to say the least. The installation manual is missing any information about how to hang the fan for wiring, use of the terminal strip, and the installation sequence is out of order. The blades should be attached to the fan motor AFTER the wiring is done. (And you figure out how to do it) The terminal strip where the A/C line voltage comes in and connects to the fan is just three tubes with screws. There is no "stop" inside, so if you insert the wires too far in on one side, you can't get them in on the other side. The "tools required" list mentions a Phillips screwdriver, but actually you need two....a large one to assemble the fan and a jewelers screwdriver to tighten the screws in the terminal strip. The tools list is mislabeled. The only one labeled accurately is the step ladder. There is a hook, but no mention of how to use it. There is no diagram, but I assume you are supposed to hang the motor using one of the holes, but there is very little space to work if you do it that way. I used a hook from another installation to address that. I have installed a lot of fans in my 82 years, but after playing around for half an hour so, sorting parts and deciding how to go about the installation, I was becoming a little frustrated by this one. I finally got it all connected up after a few false starts, but then it wouldn't pair with the remote. Most fans I have installed come with the remote already paired to the receiver, but not this one. The instructions say to "Turn power on, then within 30 seconds, press and hold the transmitter's (the remote) FAN ON/OFF button for 5 seconds and a beep will be heard this will then activate a successful pairing and all functions will work normally." Except they didn't. No beep, the remote flashes and that's it. Took it back down (twice) and rechecked all the wiring, measured the line voltage and polarity, etc. Nada....nothing. It also says "Please ensure isolation switch (assume this means the wall switch) is kept to the ON position, the isolation switch is not to be used as a light switch as this will damage and make the remote receiver inoperable". Say, what? Since when does power on and off to an electrical device "damage" it? That's patently ridiculous. I think what is being said here is every time you lose power you will have to pair the remote again. Can't confirm that because I couldn't get it to pair at all. The light in this fan is an LED circle of lights that supposedly give you various colors. No replaceable bulbs. After giving it some thought, I decided I just didn't want to deal with this fan. Don't recommend.
