All in all great desk lamp. I love that it is slim, not invasive, and lights up the whole desk. The ability to have it on 'auto' is excellent but love that you can change the temperature of the light on your own. The craftsmanship of this light is nice, with smooth aluminum casing and touch buttons on the top giving this piece a sleek minimalist approach to alternative desk lamps. From the lamp to the arm, the quality of the material is impressive. The rubber neck gives it a smooth and soft feel without kinking the material when you bend it. The vertical arm is half flexible and sturdy, with a nice aluminum arm that runs down to the clamp. The vise or clamp grabs the desk nicely and firmly without damaging your tabletop. The lamp does what it's advertised, and can light up a large surface area (My desk a 30" D x 60" W) without a problem. The lamp doesn't produce a glare on the screen or blind the user while seated at the desk. Cons: Versatility: This hurts me, and it comes from how you set your desk up. For me, the large clamp for the lamp takes up too much space. I had to move the LG monitor up about 3-4', taking up that valuable desk space for the lamp. The arm for the lamp also towered over my lower monitor and protruded out, blocking my second monitor above the light. It would have taken a lot to move the monitor up an extra 4-5" to clear the lamp. I wish you all had wall mounting options for this lamp beside desk options. In the meantime, I have designed and 3D printed a wall mount for this lamp. Please forgive me, but I had to take apart the arm to get access to the cable that runs inside, which the arm was really well crafted! Mounting the light to the wall allowed me to regain my desk space, set the light to the right level between the two monitors, and still be able to light my whole desk with this amazing lamp! I hope you all consider designing and making a wall mount option for this lamp so that others may also have that option if necessary. This could set this lamp apart from other lamps and manufacturers that designed lamps with just a desk clamp. Disclaimer: The original arm is not presented in my pictures. The white arm/wall mount is a modification to what the manufacturer has not included in the original kit. The light itself isn't modded, just what it is mounted to. ... show more

Great light, there's multiple use scenarios I could use it for. It was better than I expected. The light output and controls are well designed and provide lot of lights and applications. The clamps work great for regular working desk, as well as any workbench or desk in my workshop. I recently built a woodwork shop in my garage and did not realize the problem of lighting when I tried to work in the shop at night. The garage lamp on the ceiling is bright but the orientation of my bench is facing to the wall that my body blocks the lights. I don’t want to hang another lamp from the ceiling while the light strip I ordered is not uniform enough on the bench when I make drawings or do some sophisticated jobs requiring great lighting. I purchased this horizontal lamp because it fits the overhead space above my workbench with about 35” width. The clamp was reversely mounted with some modifications to the shelf above. At the height of 3.5 ft. It can uniformly bright up the entire workbench surface. Another convenient feature for my woodwork job is the adjustable light color's temperature, between 3000k to 5000k. The 5000K temperature is about the same as the sunlight that I can do my painting job at night now with the lamp. Very helpful to my work efficiency as I only had very limited time to work on my hobby woodwork during the weekday after hours. Previously, I had to do the painting job during the day only. The brightness can be turned out all the way up to the level of daylight without too much heat adding to the room as I still have no time and budget to add AC to the shop yet. The power consumption of 24W is nothing compared to the 120W garage lamp. Another interesting feature I found out recently was the smart sensing by the lamp that seems to be able to adjust the brightness level to the lighting conditions of the surroundings. A little surprising for me at the beginning as I thought the lamp was going wrong or the power adapter is not stable. I actually wrote to the customer service trying to claim the warranty while the vendor very patiently explained this fancy auto-adjusting feature. As I’m still expanding my workspace in the shop, I am considering getting another one for my new workbench. It would probably be better if they can provide a transparency window on the outlet of the lamp to prevent the wood dust from getting in but no big deal as the cleaning with compressed air is very easy. I previously purchased the black version of this lamp for myself. My mom saw it on my desk, and she asked me to get her one in white. I can't recommend it enough -- I absolutely love this specific design, and oddly enough it doesn't seem to be copied by competitors anywhere else. The slim profile plus the adjustable warmth, brightness, and angle make it a 10/10 for me. It's my favorite desk accessory, and if the LEDs ever go out I plan to buy another to replace it! ... show more

Bendable arm. Multiple light brightness and color settings. Does what its suppose to. Works for me! The light bar is not so firm so it may wobble a little but its nothing terrible. Still working after a couple months so thats a good sign.

I very much like the lamp and it illuminated my home work space nicely. But exactly 12 months after I started using it, it no longer turns off. When I press the power switch it alternates between minimum dimness and max brightness. I have to unplug it if I want to turn the light out. I am disappointed that it failed after 12 months, at this price point I would expect it to be reliable for at least 3 years. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. I am a harsh critic but this lamp is amazing, and for $60 it’s a great value. It’s dimmable and has different color temperature settings . Installation took 3 minutes. I am getting a second one for mine and my husbands home offices
