My sister told us about this product. We used to buy the Seal a Meal bags at Walmart. They were pricey and you had to use scissors to cut them. When we received these bags we found out how easy it was to use them. There is a built in cutter on top the the box. The bags are on a roll and pull easily out of the box across the cutter and you can cut the size you need. Be careful not to tear the top of the box open. If you do it can affect how the bags roll out.

I've had a food sealer for 25 years or so and a lot of experience with 3 machines over the years. THIS bag material is not too thin, seals around the entire piece of meat or chicken nicely, and draws up nice and tight to the item. I just started using this brand so cannot address if it gets all scored and creased the closer I get to empty. I do not know why mfg's can't eliminate this common problem. If you want to spend 3 - 4 times as much, get the big name brand but for me, I LIKE THIS so far. Good value and GOOD bag material, and after 25 years of trying all kinds from Amazon and local in stores, I'd know.

I bought this product because the bags for my vacuum sealer were out of stock and Amazon suggested this product. Although it is good quality, the sizing was slightly off and it tends to not vacuum seal correctly because sizing is slightly bigger than the original product. It will last a while and I’ll use for items that don’t need to be perfectly sealed but in the future will stick to the bags intended for my brand.

This is our second time ordering this. You get a huge roll and the dispenser box is brilliantly designed so you can pull as much or as little as you need, although at one point last year I did lose the feed and so had to take apart the box. But even without that, it was easy as pie to slice our bags to size. Another nice thing about a roll is that you can adjust or reuse a bag if you messed up the seal for any reason. And their a real game changer when it comes to freezing--no more freezer burn!
