The media could not be loaded. Before choosing this bike, I did my homework and went with the 4-stroke over a 2-stroke. Simple reason: I didn’t want my kid surrounded by smoke. Turns out, that was the right call! This 4-stroke starts up with almost no visible smoke, and the exhaust smell is very mild. The first time my 8-year-old son rode it, the chain slipped off. I was a bit frustrated, but after doing some research and spending a few hours wrenching on it, I finally got it dialed in. He’s since put about 7 hours of run time on it with no chain slipping at all. The engine fires up first pull every time, big thumbs up there. It’s a 50cc, but it definitely rips for its size. My son has an absolute blast riding it. Assembly took me about 45 minutes, and I did it with my husband—pretty straightforward. My son loves riding it, and I feel good about the purchase. ... show more
