It’s has been three days so far so good… I love the the long bristles on this brush its great at getting through the whole layer of my medium density TYPE 4a&4b Afro / Black Natural Hair.. Other similar silicone paddle brushes are good but the bristles are to short so I would have to detangle my hair in smaller sections to make sure the sections were thoroughly detangled root to end. The media could not be loaded. We love the wet brush line, but I’ve had a hard time finding the perfect brush for my daughters 3C hair. This brush absolutely does the trick. As a disclaimer, I use this brush as the first of two that I use in a process. This brush is used for the first stage when brushing out her damp hair. It helps separate the curls without ripping or fighting tangles. There’s very minimal, if any, pulling of knots. Once I am done brushing her hair out, I am able to add more product to her hair since the curls have been separated . The second brush that I use smooths the curls back together: it is the Boao ez detangler brush (picture in review) which is also amazing! ... show more

I didn’t realize how hard the “Bristles” are. They have no give to them so be gentle when brushing near your scalp. I think this brush is good for those with long dense hair
