RE: Westinghouse ePX3100V A great little Electric Pressure Washer from Westinghouse. Small and compact which is ideal for storage after use. It is housed in a hard shell plastic case (think DeWalt drill and bit case) that protects the motor, ideal when you're out in the front cleaning off the pavement or in the driveway washing your car. I didn't want the model with wheels as it would take up more space in the garage while limiting where I could store it. This you just pick up and carry like a cooler and it can be set down on wet concrete or grass. And then easily stored on a shelf. The connections are easy and even though I bought an extra flex hose thinking this one would pinch, I didn't need it. The hose that comes with this is thick and heavy, unlike the 2050 model with wheels. With two different nozzles, it does the job. And with 2100 PSI/1.76 GPM it really packs a punch. My only gripe is that I wish the electrical cord had a way to wrap it around the unit for storage. Despite that, I love that it comes with an attachable foam cannon. This is so much better than filling an internal bucket that you find on most of these machines. Ideally, you never want soap going through the machine as that's how it clogs the inner tubes and shortens the life cycle of the product, never mind trying to clean it out. With the Foam cannon, you just add soap and water to the external wand and spray up your just like being at the car wash (I recommend The Chemical Guys products for your car wash needs). Note: The unit is loud but no louder than a gas-powered pressure washer. Maybe wait until 10:00 AM to wake your neighbors. ... show more

Assembly required. The instructions were good, although missed a couple steps on assembly. The pressure washer doesn't leak at any of the connections, and the cord and hose are long enough. Easy to use, after reading all the instructions, and it rolls extremely easily on the big wheels. The "quick connect" feature on the wand makes it super easy to exchange nozzles quickly, and the storage holes for all five nozzles is great. The 0-degree is my favorite nozzle in corners or grooves where you need a pinpoint stream to blast out gunk, and for tiny individual spots. The turbo nozzle does the same but with a much wider spray pattern. I have not used the soap applicator yet. This is my first time using a pressure washer, and the only regret is not buying one with a higher GPM, which would make the job go faster. It's interesting that all the Westinghouse models sold here are 1.76 GPM regardless of the PSI. One annoying feature is the coiled pressure hose, which has to be straightened out every time I use it. It's also hard to coil up the hose into it's holding place on the machine, which is probably why there is a velcro wrap attached. I don't know if this is true of all pressure hoses, but I have to fight with it each time, and it even starts to coil up again during use. Enclosed in the box is a Westinghouse offer to receive 5 free pressure washer nozzles if you submit a review (photo attached). I coupled this pressure washer with a 15" diameter "surface cleaner" to clean my garage and driveway and sidewalk after watching a YouTube video "How To Pressure Wash A Concrete Driveway" by Everyday Home Repairs, which makes the task much easier and faster, and then used the turbo nozzle to clean up the edges. ... show more

For the money, this can't be beat. I bet the higher-end units work even better, but I couldn't justify the extra $$$ for how often I use a pressure washer. This is certainly way more convenient than my existing Craftsman gas unit, and works just as well if not better. I purchased a M22 quick-connect set from Lowes to add to this unit to make the setup / teardown even easier. I plan to also purchase a 40 degree nozzle (this one does not come with it) and a gun extension wand. I don't think this unit would work for heavier applications like a surface cleaner - not enough flow or pressure, but I haven't tried it. Pros: - Powerful - Small, lightweight, portable - Start-stop functionality works fantastic - Quiet Cons: - Turbo nozzle doesn't seem to work as well as other 3rd party turbo nozzles - Soap nozzle is cheap plastic and will wear down in the quick-connect over time - No easy way to empty / flush the soap dispenser. Wish it had an external pickup tube instead. - Combined cord + hose is 50 ft, or 25 ft each. Reach may be an issue and require an extension cord or extension hose. - Most of the unit is made of plastic, including the water inlet. I can see this breaking over time if you aren't careful or put too much stress on the connection. ... show more
