    • Hate the way the adapter plugs into the clock!
I like the clock but the adapter cord is too short and it plugs into the side of the clock, not the bottom. So if you use the plug the clock is crooked. Whoever thought up that plan needs his/her head examined. The reason I bought the clock was to eliminate a battery! 🙄

    • Clock works with A/C adapter OR battery...
...but not both. I bought the clock because I wanted a cheap electric clock. This fits that bill perfectly. The clock also has a place for a battery which it will also run with. But if you use the A/C adapter that comes with it (the standard power source), don't use the battery. The clock will not work. I thought "cool, if the power goes out, the clock will have a backup." No such luck. It just stops working if both power sources are used - which I find a bit odd. But it works well with either power source and keeps good time. ... show more

    • USELESS - DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME AND MONEY.
These clocks are garbage. The first one I bought stopped working. Thinking it was just an aberration I had Amazon replace it. Now two and half months later the replacement loses an hour a day. And that's when it's hooked up to the mains. I'm going to get my money back. Hope I don't have to deal with some customer service rep with an incomprehensible foreign accent. Edit: I just found out that there seems to be no way of calling Amazon's customer service so now it's Amazon non-service and when I call up the replacement order there's no way to return it. I suppose it's bye bye Amazon. No biggie if it is because I'm finding that compared to other vendors Amazon is now frequently overpriced. ... show more

Great clock for the woodworking shop. Do you know how hard it is to find an electric clock? Ours died that we had for 44 years so this was a good replacement. It is large but can read it from anywhere in the whole shop!

Clock was purchased for a pottery studio and is well liked by everyone. The clock is a great size and easy to read. A great choice for any type of workshop. Had problems with strictly battery operated clocks before and chose this clock because of electrical supply.
