Works great. I've never used a plastic welder before, but it was super easy. It got 4 stars because the wire cutters are no good at all, there are chips in the cutter part after just 15-20 staples.

I have fixed multiple plastic items since I have purchased this from snow shovels to Car bumpers. Easy to use and comes with a decent amount of staples inserts. In many cases it eliminates the need for any glue.

This plastic welder kit is decent for basic, light-duty repairs but isn’t something I would rely on for more demanding work. It heats up and functions as intended, and the included hot staples and pliers make it a convenient starter kit for small projects like minor bumper cracks or plastic tabs. The LED lights are a helpful touch when working in tighter areas. That said, it doesn’t feel built for heavy-duty or repeated structural repairs. The power and overall construction are adequate for occasional fixes, but if you’re planning on frequent use or larger, high-stress repairs, you may find it limiting. For DIY-level automotive plastic repair or small household fixes, it’s serviceable. Just keep expectations realistic and don’t expect professional-grade performance.
