  • Works great and an exceptional value
Style: Flux-Cored Welder
Tiny, light and super portable. But it welds just great on thin things. I use it for welds on stainless steel tables that are 14-18 gauge instead of using my big welder. The lower power is perfect and I don't have to keep changing out wire spools back and forth.

  • Lincoln has done it again, you won't be sorry buying this one!
Style: Flux-Cored Welder
This is a small machine, but performs like it's the bully on the block. Welds perfect welds, just like a Lincoln. The ad I saw was correct, you can carry this one via its strap on your shoulder to the welding location. Just plug in set controls and weld. No problems yet. Really like the size of this one!! ... show more

  • almost cheating compared to non-inverter flux core
Style: Flux-Cored Welder
i sold my forney, a 120v 120A max flux core welder for $100 and bought this. still 120v 120A, but i wanted something with: - more granular voltage control, better than the forneys "sheet metal/thin plate" two-voltage rocker switch. having an infinitely adjustable dial between 1-10 is spectacular for me. - *significant* savings in size and weight, which meant an inverter welder. my forney was probably 40lbs and the size of a large laundry basket. awkward to move. this thing is the size and weight of a large shoebox... - ive only used it on a few jobs so far, but i swear using inverted power splatters less, and makes for a killer weld almost every time. as i said, it almost feels like cheating compared to my old machine. - the torch, workclamp, and power cable are all high quality - cold feed switch makes swapping spools effortless AND safe - keep in mind since this is a flux core only unit, the torch has no big fat gas shield on the end that normally also protects the electrode. i LOVE it, gives me a great view of my work at any angle. just gotta be careful and watch your CTWD or youll tear through electodes. *thats a 12" laptop leaning against it in the pic, for size reference* ... show more

  • Best flux core welder ive ever used
Style: Flux-Cored Welder
I didnt expect much from this little 110 wore box. I got it for light duty repairs and easy portability. It looses a star for not having a dang handle. That shoulder strap stinks. I put one on it anyway but man...always make a welder intended to move around like this one with a handle. Also the star loss is because it only takes 1 lb spools. I know they were trying to make it ultra portable, but come on at least 2lb spools guys. At least. Other than that this thing is amazing and welds great. Best flux core welder ive ever had. And way stronger than advertised. I think they do that thing where they claim it will only weld so thick of steel but make it stronger so its impossible to not have enough juice than to weld what is advertised. I have welded half inch plate with this welder. It was just supposed to be a quick fix till I could get back to a big 220 stick welder I have, when I went to cut it down to fix it properly, this little box had gotten penetration half way though 1/2 in plate on one pass! I couldn't believe it. In any case, worth the money. Works great. Long duty cycle for such a small unit. If you are welding 1/4 steel or less all the time you'd never not be able to weld it. Only drawback is its not a mig /flux combo but...that unit is like 3 times the price so. ... show more

  • Effortless Welding for Car Restoration Projects
Style: Flux-Cored Welder
This welder has been a game-changer for me during the restoration of my vintage 1950 Ford hearse conversion. The torch is incredibly easy to handle, making precision welding on sheet metal a breeze. I love how portable the machine is, allowing me to move around the car effortlessly. Being able to run it on 110 power sources is a huge plus as I can reach outlets conveniently. Once I dialed in the settings, maintaining them has been a smooth process. This welder has been trouble-free so far, making it perfect for light welding tasks. Highly recommend it for anyone working on similar projects! ... show more

  • Super portable, easy to use.
Style: Flux-Cored Welder
I had a Lincoln 140 welder before and lost it in a fire. This one seems to weld just as good if not better than it. The big difference is that this one is light as a feather. It’s a switching type power supply instead of a large transformer type which is what makes it so light. I used it this weekend to repair a grader blade for my tractor. The wire speed and amperage control seemed easier to set than my old one. I burned through the steel in one place, but I was able to turn the amperage down and the wire speed up to build it back up and repair the hole pretty easily. I’m not sure if there’s any application where I would need to carry this thing as I was welding but you really could it is so light. Very happy with it and the price was a lot cheaper than the transformer type welders. ... show more

  • Fare better than other 110v Flux Core Welders
Style: Flux-Cored Welder
Replaced my old transformer style Flux Core welder with this and it performs far better. The wire feeds smooth and steady. The ground clamp is cheap, but it works well. I also like the variable voltage, whereas the old welder only had a High and Low setting. First use was 1/8 steel angle, running Forney .030 wire and it sounded like a MIG, using the settings on the machine placard. I was so surprised how well it did, that the first two beads caught me off guard. Laid down several more beads welding together some awning brackets, also 1/8 steel angle, and it was a pleasure to pull the trigger. Just so smooth, with less splatter that comes with flux core. (I find Forney wire runs better than Lincoln.) When putting the machine away, the next surprise was the weight and size. About half of the old machine and half the size. Is it worth $80 more than its clone made of titanium 125? Nope, but Lincoln has a solid reputation, so I am relying on that Lincoln sticker to hold it together better long term. ... show more
