I thought I would be using this to help setup 3” angle steel, it’s just too weak to really be helpful. It works good enough on 2” anything smaller than that and it doesnt fit. It’s a lot of money for the size/strength.

They stated a holding strength of 60 lbs. I don't have a pull scale but it seemed to slide or break away with a lot less then 60 lbs. Tried it on bare and painted steel, still not great.
