This was a great addition to the plastic stapler I purchased a few months ago. It came with two of each of the two heads. Sit and finish of the heads could use some cleaning up I filed them down and buffed them smooth however they do make it a lot easier smoothing out larger areas. The head takes a little while to heat up and when it does it gets HOT! It takes a little practice and has a bit of a learning curve. You need to move quickly and don't keep it in one spot too long, or it will melt the piece you are repairing as well. ... show more

Do not ever spend your money on this piece of crap. Plugged it in used it for 5 minutes. There was a flash of sparks and it quit working. BEWARE-poorly constructed!

    • Fixing stuff and saving money
I picked up this kit to help repair the dashboard in my pickup (I removed it first and repaired from the underside). It did great with the original intention. However, since then I've found a few surprisingly good uses. With the included metal mesh I was able to repair the head on my yard trimmer that I wore holes in (new ones are over $30). Several weeks later it's holding up great. I also found this works great to repair a drain pan. In this kit you'll get the iron part with (4) heads, two of which have a slender shape and have a hole straight through to feed the included rod aggregate. You'll also get several colors of patch sticks and filler rod sticks, wire mesh sand paper, and even a couple pieces of foil tape. I can see myself using this tool for years instead of buying new bits to replace tiny worn out pieces of just about anything. I can't wait to find the next use. ... show more

Great product works like a champ had no issues with it. It’s super hot so wear gloves while using this tool. And tomorrow I will find out if I’m going to give the 4 stars.     • Poor Quality and doesn’t last
I used it 2 times and on my 3rd use, it was pre-heating and when I tried to use, the light was off and it was not hot. In addition, the circuit breaker tripped. Upon taking out one screw, a wire broke off inside the welder so it no longer works. It was nice having this and on hand but I will find a better one. ... show more
