Our 209cc engine blasts over 2000 pounds of snow per minute up to 30 feet. This self-propelled snow blower has 8 different speed settings; 6 forward and 2 reverse. Our electric-start engine plugs easily into an extension cord for simple start-ups. If you prefer a manual start, simply pull the included recoil and get to plowing. The two rugged, never-flat 13-inch snow tires feature deep treads for easy navigation across a variety of terrain, as well as tubeless construction to prevent deflating. The easily- accessible crank handle rotates the chute through a full 190 degrees, allowing users to easily aim the direction and the arc of the thrown snow. Only had to wait about 5 min before speaking to someone, he was patient, listened, and seemed to care. He mentioned that they were based out of Illinois, not far from me actually, so that's cool. Anyway, they are sending me a NEW UNIT! I can't believe it. I thought I'd have to fight an uphill battle to get help. NOPE. 5 stars for customer service! I'm incredibly grateful and looking forward to getting a new one so I have a snow blower for this winter. :) 🥺🥺🥺UPDATE 11/21: First snow of the season today so I thought I’d get it cranked up. I’m disappointed to say it’s definitely broken. The pull start won’t unwind to let me pull it (it did 2x (never started) then caught up on something inside. I thought “it’s fine, I’ll just use the electric start”, I got a short extension cord and ran it over to the unit, plugged it in and pressed the start. It made a pretty unconvincing noise, I say unconvincing bc I was unconvinced it was the right noise to be making lol. Anyway, I held it for 5 seconds per the manual and the damn starter started smoking. SOOOOO, I whipped out my phone to get a video and after waiting about 15 seconds on my second attempt at about the 2-second mark it just abruptly shut off. I checked my breakers and my power bank and all was well. 😭 So it wasn’t that. It never attempted to start. Not a single time. See video. I’ll call customer service tmr but doubt they will care. I’ll update you again after that. In hindsight I should have started it up when I bought it but it looked so solid and well built I thought it would be fine. That’s what I get I guess. 🤩ORIGINAL: Took about 15 min to connect the few sections that come disassembled. Nice big but not bulky snow blower. Wheels are fantastic.     • Fantastic product for a very reasonable price!!
We live in the Buffalo NY area. We have had numerous snowstorms this winter with one storm dishing out six feet of lake effect snow or more. Our area is known for bad winters with very heavy snow. This thing runs like champ!! It never clogs. Starts up with just one try. It was easy to assemble and very easy to operate. Most importantly it got us through 5 snow storms since November with a minimum of 2 feet or more of snow. Wonderful product. Easily chews through our heavy snow storms with no issues at all. The price compared to other makes and models is very affordable. I can not say enough about this product. If you are in the market for a snow blower please strongly consider buying this snow blower. Item arrives in *huge* box, in plastic & stuffing. Don’t let that overwhelm you! Construction directions are clear & helpful. Tools needed are already included. Although it is an electric starter, you still need oil & gasoline for the motor to run. Compact design, very solid, durable, easy to use. Functions well; will clear heavy wet & lighter weight snow. Always start it close to an open garage door, not in enclosed spaces. Pay attention to safety guidelines in manual. Highly recommend. ... show more

A little difficult to assemble.Very heavy on delivery.DID NOT NOTICE FUEL VALVE WAS DAMAGED UNTIL I SENT PHOTO TO WEN.IN 5 DAYS I SHOULD HOPEFULLY HAVE IT.I GOT THE VALVE OPEN WITH A SCREWDRIVER AND WAS ABLE TO USE IT IN HEAVY SNOW AND DID A GREAT JOB.AMAZON IS SUPPOSED TO ADJUST PRICE DUE TO DAMAGE.VERY BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE ON AMAZON. ... show more

    • Pretty easy assembly, arrived on it's side with oil leaked out

I was disappointed that this arrived on it's side (as pictured) and the "This Side Up" markings were completely ignored. All the oil in the blower had consequently leaked out and made a mess. As such, I have not yet run the unit but will update as soon as I can fill it with fresh oil. I can at least speak for assembly. Overall, it was pretty straightforward to put together. The directions were easy to follow and written in clear English; no sketchy translation. Certain steps required some thinking. Perhaps an extra drawing or two could've helped, but can't blame the instructions for my misreads; just take your time and it shouldn't take much more than 30 minutes. I do recommend using a socket wrench/ratchet set to move things along a little faster, but it can be assembled with the supplied socket/screw driver combo tool.     • Bargin blower works well
Product was easy to assemble, started right up. Electric start with regular extension cord works like a champ. Compared to my Troy Built this is a much cheaper feel to the metal so not sure on longevity. Its very light so easy to push around for us older folks. Throws snow about 40ft, no problem going through 5-6 inches of snow, guessing12 inches would be its max i feel, transmission speed seems a bit slower than my TB was but not a big deal. If i get 5yrs out of it i’d be happy with the purchase. Fast delivery has you blowing instead of shoveling very quickly ... show more

    • Broke on Second Use
The product seems flimsy, it broke the second time I used it, and the manufacturer's customer service is poorly managed. I live in a very snowy part of the country. The machine did fine with an 8" snowfall in January and then died during a 6" snowfall recently. Two uses, a pop, a puff of smoke, and then no more auger. Hey, I get it. Things break. So I contact Amazon, and they tell me to contact the manufacturer for the warranty. I make the assumption that I will contact WEN, tell them of the unfortunate failure, an they will say "That's weird. Well, no worries. Here is how we do the replacement." Instead, I contact WEN and hear nothing back. Thankfully, WEN's product failed within the first 30 days, and Amazon was kind enough to provide a refund. Hopefully one of the local stores has one in stock, or it is going to be more shoveling for me. ... show more
