    • Had my doubts
Was remodeling the house and ended up with a blank white (popcorn) wall and decided why not make home theatre. Decided since this was my first attempt, I would go cheap as possible, saw this on sale and decide to buy it. You do need a dark room to watch most tv shows and movies, although anime and cartoon do pretty well even in a well-lit room. The apps aren't that impressive but this nothing a simple firestick couldn't fix. There's only one button on the projector, the power button, so if you lose the remote it's game over. Overall it's nice, probably not a good as those 2 grand projectors, but if you're looking for something cheap that works, this is a no-brainer. ... show more

    • Best 👍 lowest noise and real natural 4k projector
Review Image by ksb888 ksb888
The media could not be loaded. I bought this before I bought couple projectors. but very disappointed with others projectors, because others low quality pictures, louder noice fan, and pictures untrue collar. But this one is the best I see, lowest noice, real 4k natural pictures, and super clear picture, I super recommend this projector, Although it seems that the price is more expensive than others, it is worth buying ... show more

    • It's a projector, not a tablet.
A lot of the hate on this projector is due to it's questionable software. I've personally never been a fan of any display device with it's own built in smart features (which is practically all of them now a days). Especially because every time you buy a new device you need to learn a new UI, Then you also as apps are developed and updated they tend to get slower due to the hardware limitations of the device running the software. I miss the good old days when the most you can control from display devices themselves was image settings, sound settings, and changing the channel on televisions. A DISPLAY DEVICE doesn't need to be anything more than a DISPLAY DEVICE. Therefore when shopping for a projector I was more concerned about 4 things primarily, In descending order of importance, LUMENS, native resolution, image quality, and sound quality. Software, if it was good and smooth software and hardware running the software that was just a bonus. This projector for the price hit all the right marks. And I bought this when it was twice the current price of when I wrote this review. The image is bright enough to see during the day, not the greatest, but far better than all the other what I would consider toy projectors. After all, what good is a projector's software if you can't even see it? The resolution, it's not 4k display, it's only 4k processing. So it's still a 1080p output. it will make no difference if you try to play 4k content. Your final output will be in 1080p, which is not bad for just movie watching on it every once in a while, or trying to use this as a presentation projector during a meeting or something. Your text will be very clear and legible at 1080p resolution. Heck for the longest 1080p was the 4k. Thirdly, the IOs, while not great, are good enough to use most devices out there. The HDMI will take a DP conversion adaptor or connect to my phone via USBC no problems. detects and displays devices quickly without issues so far. And sound, was a nice surprise that it's full bodied sound for a small space and loud enough to be heard outdoors. It's no concert speaker that's for sure, but it definitely does a decent job if you don't wan to carry a whole set up. As for the software, I really don't use it and wasn't planning to use it. I use a fire stick plugged into it and any media I play on it I use the fire TV stick. It works perfect for my needs and it's portable enough to take it out and about to events. For the price it's hard to find a better projector with this image quality, brightness and sound. Lack of varied input I can deal with at this price point, Just buy an adaptor if needed. Software, just use a fire tv stick or any other streaming device of your choice. You'll enjoy that better, Just got to not lose the remote control of this thing as there is no way of picking your inputs without it as far as I can tell. ... show more

    • Must have a darker room. I believe that a short throw could be an improvement.
Very suitable for the application of home theater something that was impressive and valued at the price we could afford. The light must be dim for the picture quality on a fabric screen and the product must be approximately 12 feet from the wall for the full viewing experience and it can cast from an angle using the keystone correction and adjustment made it easy. ... show more

    • It's one of the best solution in category price - quality
I saw a lot's of projectors with similar price (lower and higher). As I think this one - best for this cost. I really love it. I would say you will barely able to use it at front of birght sun light but the same things for more expansive products in category. But it really has bright picture in evening time and fantastic one without any light. I Use it in distance 3m from the wall and picture size round about 120 inch, in description maximum size is 200 inch nut i have never tried it because as I think 120 its more than enough. Can I recommend it ? - Defenitely yes, its quite good solution for home like alternative smart TV ... show more

    • You cannot change the product resolutions.
If you're streaming, you cannot change resolutions in some apps and if using a PC through the HDMI port it defaults to 2/4K at 29 fps. This projector is capable of 120fps at 1080p and if you can change the fps in an app you're good to go, but if not .. you're not.
