This is a nice little device for those who need a little ambient noise to either get to sleep or stay asleep. It has some very nice sound quality, some very good sounds from beach, to rain and thunder, to fans and trains etc. It does have an alarm and it does show a numerical value for the sounds so you can remember which one you prefer. I wish the clock was on the side instead of the top to be easier to see from the bedside. It also has a proprietary charger and needs to be plugged into an outlet to work as there is no battery. It is better for a permanent bedside solution at home rather than travel in my opinion. There is some sort of battery as the time I set stayed about ten minutes after I unplugged it. Not sure how long that would last though and you may find yourself resetting the time on travels. All in all, nice quality sound and the touch controls are responsive. I did note one reviewer remarked about the scratches but I also noticed the screen protector was still on the device in the pic so not sure the scratches would be there when that screen protector was removed. Mine had no scratches. Recommend.

This is a pretty nice night stand device that does a few important things all in one. I like the look with the clock on top and touch button controls that activate on touch. The features include a clock, alarm, noise machine, and night light for a nice range of uses that can take the place of a few devices I use and save some space on the night stand Setting up the device is pretty easy, and it comes with instructions to walk through it. The touch controls respond pretty well with icons that display their function. I like that the instruction book has a list of the different sound options, so you can go right to the one you want instead of having to cycle through a bunch to find the right one. I am partial to the fan sounds, and there are a few to choose from The night light is on the bottom with variable brightness, but it isn't very bright even at the highest setting. I wish it got a little brighter, but it works fine and I like that it has multiple color options to suit the mood It also has a timer option for automatic shut off which is nice so it doesn't stay on all night. The volume on the sounds has volume controls, and it can get fairly loud. I wish it had bluetooth capability, so I could use it to play my own music. That is the one feature that would really make this one shine, but it works well for what it is

This is a very cute, compact design that absolutely does everything it claims. Without reading any instructions, I found the little pictograms on the display made it intuitively obvious as to how to use the various features, which I love. Why three stars? My unit came badly scratched on top and kinda dirty. The packaging did not appear to have been opened and a little protector tab was still attached, but it makes an otherwise cute little unit look unsightly. The plastic on top feels like it will be very easy to damage even with just regular dusting. We all examined it really carefully to make sure it wasn’t a removable protective cover with a nicer quality screen underneath, but no.

The Nytpal Alarm Clock White Noise Sound Machine with 7 Night Light settings is a very well made product. It is amazingly heavier than I thought it would be, the controls are very intuitive, the 7 color light on the bottom of the device is perfectly suited for relaxation, and the sounds are wonderful and REAL! There is one sound in particular that I was amazed at how accurate it sounded. The city train is so real sounding, it brought me right back to living in the city where I would leave my window open at night and I would hear the train passing over the bridge. The alarm clock; well, who likes an alarm clock sound, but it can be manipulated to your liking. A very good device that will give you years of wonderful use.

This sound machine is well-made and has nice features, including the color-changing night light with dimmer, as well as an alarm clock. It provides 20 difference sounds, which aren't as diverse as I was hoping for. Most of the sounds are very similar. I was really interested in the ocean sound, but was disappointed. We enjoy the robust sound of crashing waves, but this provided more of a bay sound, like small waves near the shore. It's just a matter of preference. The instructions are clear and easy to follow. Overall, this is a nice sound machine. It looks good, sound is crisp, and is easy to use.

This is a nice looking, mulltifunctional alarm clock, sound machine and nightlight. Pros: sleek design, dual alarms with choice of 8 tones, nightlight with 7 color options, and a choice of 20 sleep sounds (white noise, fan noise, natural sounds and lullabies). It offers a lot of features and options in a small, attractive package, and the instructions for all settings are pretty clear. Cons: the time is shown on the top, not the side so it's not visible unless you look down on the unit. Also, it requires AC power. I love sleep sound machines and own a few of them, but all of them are rechargeable with USB charges lasting for weeks or even months depending on usage. That enables me to use them anywhere and, just as importantly, to use while traveling, without the need of a cord or charger. It's the AC requirement that prevents me from giving it 5 stars. But if that's not an issue for you, then you will almost certainly love this machine.

While it took a few trials to get this set up, I found that after it was trialed last night, I love it! The soft glow of the underneath light, all the sounds are soothing and I used the 90 minute timer which was enough for me to be in deep sleep. I only wish that the wake-up could be to light as well as the sound (using the birds sound), but no stars removed for that personal preference. I'm happy with this device!

This is an all-right sound machine and a fingerprint magnet. The speaker is just ok the sound choices are a bit odd one being industrial noise then the usual suspects you have brown and white noise. If you are trying to turn off the alarm it can be difficult because there are many buttons where the off switch is. I think this clock tries to do too much and ends up not doing much well.
