I can’t even emphasize how HUGE of a difference using this is in comparison to Sally’s or boxed color. The biggest difference? The end result of super shiny, vibrant long lasting color. Also a huge win for me is the actual texture of the product, the 1:1 ratio makes it super thick so no dripping. My hair was a medium brown with a few grey . I bought (light brown/ash 5/1) with 20% developer. Now my hair sooooooo dark almost black made my hair 4 shades darker instead . I gave it 2 stars just because the color cover grey hair and the seller was perfect.

I have been using this for years Lighest Blonde Pearl 10/8 with Koleston 30 volume developer (9) with spectacular results every time. They now have "reformulated" it to be easier to mix which I thought was a good thing. NOT. After it was on my roots for 20 minutes, I noticed that the creme color was turning VERY gray...I rushed into the shower to get it out before it tuned all of my platinum blonde hair dark gray!!! Barely caught it in time! The new formula does not give the same result as the original. VERY DISAPPOINTED. Now I'm going to have to experiment with other colors to see which one comes closer to the previous formula I was using. This is the best hair color I have used and I have tried many over the years. Recently I tried using ammonia free hair color but it just didn't cover my grey well enough. After switching to this brand, I was surprised to find that it didn't smell or feel harsh when applying and after using it several times, my hair looks healthier than it did with the ammonia free brand. After trying three different shades, I have settled on 77/0. It is closest to my formerly natural shade of light brown. Thank you for finally introducing me to a professional product that I can use at home and get the same results as a salon. I am now a super fan and love my hair color. For those who are first time buyers do your homework and read the blogs, use a developer with this product to get lasting results. I mixed with a 20v Koleston Perfect developer 50/50 in a bowl and brushed it on with a hair color dye tool kit that had 3 brushes to choose from. Color: 4/71 Medium Brown/Brown Ash
Very disappointed in this color. First off, the mixing ratio is not clear. Google says this brand is a 1:2, but the box says 1:1. I did what the box said left it on my client for the recommended time and we were left with a very light brown result. Like a level 7. Definitely not a level 4 medium Brown as advertised. No directions on the box except mixing ratio. Google instructions for this particular line states you have to comb through the color every 5 minutes until you reach your desired color.. did that too and still did not end up with a level 4 medium brown. It looked dark while processing but once Shampooed it washed out A LOT. Definitely would not recommend this color line. Waste. ... show more
