The kit worked well and was easy to follow for most of the tests. Both of my strips for the Nitrate test turned a brown/gray. The colors listed on the testing kit ranged from white to pink. I’m not sure if the test was faulty and now I will have to test the nitrate levels again with a different kit

Had a lot of rain and the well water became turbid, so we stopped using it while waiting for the test results to come back. While the hard water/pH readings were not a surprise, what we really were concerned about was bacterial contamination. This test kit allowed us to put those fears to rest after 48 hours.

Only we I can test the manganese problem in my tap water in town in PA! Off the chart manganese levels (not safe at anytime to drink) brought down to 1.0ppm with my distiller and charcoal filter. Wouldn't know I succeeded if it weren't for the accuracy of this product. Will be buying more in future in order to access how often the charcoal filter keeps the manganese really low over time before needing replacement filters.
