I used this to prep the ground for my Blueberry plants I will be planting. This is a berry patch I started in the spring and I had it rototilled by the tractor in April this year. I live in the country so I had to fence it and bird net it to keep the wildlife from eating everything. I have red clay soil and it's like bricks when dry and I had walked all over the tilled ground and I had to use the tractor to put in the 10 ft steel posts so the tilled ground was pretty hard and compact however not as compacted as it initially was. I'm 66 and have anchors in both my shoulders due to torn rotator cuffs and I am unable to use the gas powered tiller and due to the fence enclosure I can't use the tractor either, so I purchased this. The price was within my budget and I wasn't sure what to expect but hoping it would do what I needed. I was pleased with how well it worked and that I was able to use it without any problems. It tills several inches in the first pass and even more if I went over it again. I attached a picture of what I did on a single charge. I did 240 sq ft in total and a single charge completed all but about 18 sq ft. It charged quickly however I found I had to let the battery completely cool to charge properly, it would stop after a few minutes as the battery gets warm when charging as they do. I'm completely happy with my purchase and it works great for my needs and it tears up weeds like a beast.

SO glad I purchased this! I have a bad back (and knees, ankles, shoulders, etc.) and this is lightweight, really digs the dirt (red clay) efficiently! We planted 8 new rose bushes in a newly hand-dug/turned plot to which we tilled in 3+ cubic yards of peat moss to the topsoil--very easy tilling and mixing! We found that after digging small holes for each plant that needed to be made wider or deeper, if we set the tiller in the hole and let it rest there and then* ran it against the sides of the hole we could make the hole as wide as we needed! It is the perfect tool for us--and no cords, none of the mixing the gas/oil mess that our old tiller required--this thing is perfect for what we need! The run time was also great-we ran it without stopping for at least a full hour before WE needed a break to "recharge" OURSELVES, but it was still charged and able to run at that point. Love it!

15/10 highly recommend!! I’m short and old, female. Bought for my raised beds and front garden beds. It mixed in the garden soil will the fill dirt so easily. It propelled forward without having to push. It’s reasonably heavy but not unmanageable. It’s fast!! I have 5 raised beds and it would have taken forever without this tiller. In the front the dirt was packed like a rock so I had to wet it a bit to get it to go. Overall well worth the money to save me time and my back!!
