It is simple yet elegant and beautiful. I felt like I was Belle from "Beauty and the Beast." At first I thought the cape and muff would make me look a little silly (I still ordered it though because it would have been better than a regular coat/jacket), but I was wrong. First its awesomeness: -definitely kept me warm, like a comforter* - protected me from chilly weather - not at all stiff as one poster suggested - of course it came in wrinkled, but it’s an easy fix: just steam the darn thing, or — as I’ve done with wrinkled clothing in the past — throw it in the dryer on low setting with a few ice cubes for about 10-20 minutes aaaaand voila! Fixed :) *Minus one star: Remember my statement about how it feels like a comforter? Well... it’s a bit on the large and heavy side for my small frame of 5’0”, under 140 lbs. The hood is HUGE! I don't know of anyone that needs a hood that long!! It looks nice, feels nice, but That hood is enough to make me want to return it. I may end up cutting off the hood.

I was very impressed. It was heavier than I expected. It didn't quite match my belle gown however it worked. I loved the muff that came with. Did not use. Can't wait to use again.
