This coat is gorgeous! Fits amazing! However, this coat is very, very, very warm…..I can only wear it when it is below freezing otherwise it is too warm if you can believe that! I bought it to walk to work on the coldest days so it is perfect!

I am 5’6”, 117 pounds, very slender. I usually fit into an xs. The size small was extremely tight under the arms and through the chest. And I was wearing a tank top when I tried it on. It also just felt heavy and overall uncomfortable when zipped up. Had I sized up to a medium it would’ve been too long so… Sadly the coat will be returned. I’d never heard of this brand before, but then again, I’m not particularly fashion conscious. Earlier this year I tried out one of their other jackets, a down filled one. This one is vegan-friendly, something many will appreciate these days. I do love my other jacket, but some people I know won’t wear anything that uses any kind of animal product. I wore the coat all winter long and loved it. This one is comprised totally of synthetic materials, but is quite warm. Before I start on what I like / love about this jacket is a brief comment on the sizing. I do have the S, but with all the layering many do, I’d go up a size. I do layer a lot and usually there isn’t’ a lot of room to spare. That said, I’m very pleased with the quality of this jacket. It is very good looking, your standard puffer style jacket. It isn’t a heavy jacket, simply puffy, but very warm. This is longer than many jackets, something that’s easy to tell simply by looking at it. There’s some hardware to note on this jacket, all very high-quality. The zipper is metal, rather chunky, but slides very well. The jacket has snaps that go over it, also very good quality. They are metal and they snap easily, covering that zipper. There are similar zippers over the pockets and they also glide easily. I don’t have to treat them with graphite. The zipper pulls are very easy to work, even with a gloved hand. This jacket is definitely designed for winter use. I definitely love the hood design on this jacket as I can easily wear a hat underneath it. Hoods are a must when the wind is whipping, which is happens a lot around here. This is not only a great looking jacket, but a functional one. The sleeves have just the right amount of elastic, keeping them snug against my wrists. On the other hand, there’s enough flexibility so I can pull the over my gloves or mitten tops. One thing about this company is that the jackets are very well-made. There was not a thread out of place and it was packed well. Sometimes it’s the small stuff that says a lot about workmanship and a company’s commitment to excellence. The jacket is warm, well-made, and very comfortable. Depending on what you’re wearing, I’d go up a size if you border one size or the other or tend to layer a lot. Unsure of the asking price, so simply do a bit of comparative shopping prior to purchase. COMPOSITION: 100% Polyester in the jacket, including the lining and padding.     • Surprisingly well made and attractive
I got this coat for my wife via the Vine program in exchange for my honest review. My wife is always complaining about being cold in just about every jacket she has with the exception of her LL Bean ski jacket. Unfortunately, however, a ski jacket is not really not appropriate for more formal occasions so when I saw this coat I decided to give it a shot with the understanding I could always return it or give it away. When the box arrived I wasn't immediately sure what was in it as the coat was folded neatly in a zippered bag that looked like it might contain a comforter you would find on a bed. Opening the bag I found what I can best describe as a well made and nice looking coat. The second thing I noted was it's weight. I don't like to equate weight with warmth but generally the two go together and this is a heavy coat. The stitching, zipper and buttons all have a look of quality and the fur on the hood is realistic enough where my wife asked me if it was real (she doesn't approve of real fur). I was surprised (and pleased) to see that the coat fit her well with sufficient room to allow for a heavy sweater to be worn in addition to whatever shirt she might have on. I ordered the medium size (my wife is about 5'4" and 125lbs.) hoping that this would allow for cloths layering and still fit correctly and I was right (a rarity). The coat is a bit long but this has the added benefit of covering her legs from the knees up however it did make it a bit more difficult for her to zipper. I generally don't take notice of coats but it looked like the coat had a bit of an hour glass shape to it rather than just being straight up and down because it sort of hugged her figure without being tight. Normally I'm a complete failure when it comes to buying any type of cloths for my wife. I told her that I could return it but apparently she likes it enough where she wore it out the first day. This is a pretty, well-made coat with sturdy-feeling zipper and snaps. It is more fitted than I expected, but the arm length and coat length are perfect. My major disappointment is in the thermal reflective layer, which is only at the upper back. The primary reason I bought the coat was this layer, and I thought the whole interior would be reflective. I'm not sure this will be the ultra-warm coat I need for northeast Ohio. ... show more
