I bought this bundle specifically for Uncharted 4 and I was not disappointed. The system is easy enough to set up although setting up a sub account for my son seemed more complicated than it should have been but that may have just been me. The console operates smoothly and I have always been a fan of the PS controller over the Xbox. The graphics are incredible! So glad I upgraded to a PS4. I Love it! As for Uncharted 4... words cannot describe. I just recently finished the game and I have to say that was probably the best experience I've had with a video game in a long while, if not forever! I really cannot describe the beauty of this game in a way that would do it justice. The level of detail that has gone into this game is beyond anything that I've seen so far. Each moment in the game could be a snapshot that I would have printed on canvas and hung in my home. It's not just that the graphics have captured so much but that they did so with an amazingly artistic eye. Every element of the game (story, action, scenery, music, etc.) comes together perfectly at every moment to have you feel exactly as you should. The characters have depth not just in their stories but in there body movements and facial expressions. The dialog isn't anything superior but it fits perfectly with this type of game. The story is fantastic, again nothing real deep or mind blowing but exactly appropriate for this type of game. The length of this game is decent. I would have liked it to be longer but that's just because I enjoyed playing it so dang much. You can rush thought it or really take your time to explore, find hidden treasures, or take screenshot after screenshot of each amazing view. The game play is solid. The movement of the characters (all of them) were smooth. No one was jerky. I didn't have to spend several minutes lining my character up just right in order to perform a task. No side character was just walking around getting in my way when I was getting shot at. It was perfect. Really no complaints. Although some reviews have stated that there was too much climbing around and not enough action, I fully disagree. I thought there was a perfect blend of action, exploration, and puzzles. Again, each was given the appropriate time in order to give the player the experience of not just playing a character, but playing a story. And the transition of gameplay between those is seamless. Something I really appreciate with this game also, is that is was completely appropriate for my children to either watch or play as well. It's difficult these days to find games that are fun, engaging, and challenging without having gratuitous violence, profanity, and sexual content to where I need to tell my kids to either leave the room or wait till late at night to be able to play. There is very mild language in this game and the violence is fun without being too gory or too childish. It's a lot like an Indiana Jones film (one of the good ones anyway). I was quite impressed with the replay value as well. I would have expected to have completed the game and been done with it and tried to move on to another game only to feel underwhelmed after being spoiled with Uncharted 4. Not the case at all. Unlocking bonus features like "No Gravity", "Bullet Time", "Slow Motion" and a number of other game modifiers after completing the game has made playing it a second time around even more fun. My son really enjoys the "No Gravity" mod. Plus there are several treasures that I need to go back and find and looking at each beautiful scene will keep me coming back again. This has become one of my favorites, if not THE favorite game of mine. The Naughty Dog team has put together a truly amazing game. The attention that has gone into this game is phenomenal. It's worth buying the PS4 just for this game in my opinion. So glad we got this bundle. You have to see it for yourself.

I got mine on April, 2017. It is working properly so far. I love the the color, and the image on Nathan Drake, with the Uncharted written below. I took my chances and bought it despite reading the negative reviews. Here is a summary of what I have done. I played Uncharted for around 12 hours on 2 1/2 consecutive days, and it didn't fail. Then a couple of days later I played 2 more games (Until Dawn and Mirror's Edge:Catalyst) for around 6 hours on 3 consecutive days, and still no problems. Bought two more games (Infamous Second Son and Destiny) from which one (Infamous) I played on a weekly basis for around six hours; finished the game without any problems. Right now I'm playing Destiny, for a bit over six hour on a weekly basis and no problems yet. Hopefully this one is the good one. If something happens (crossing my fingers and knocking on wood it doesn't) I will update this review and regretfully add hindsight hopefully it doesn't happen.

I waited to get a PS4 until Uncharted 4 came out. I thought all the bugs and issues would be worked out by now. Two plus years after the release date of the system. But that is not the case. I received my Uncharted 4 PS4 bundle on the release date and set it up. The PS4 shut off with no indication after about one hour. Restarted it and started playing Uncharted 4, the game is great, five stars for the game. The system shut off again. Looked up the trouble shooting info on the web and after trying the different guidelines it still shut off randomly and would not stay on more than a half hour. Amazon’s exchange is great and I give Amazon five stars so far. The new PS4 arrived and I set it up. It seemed OK for a few hours, and then I noticed it was on after I had shut it off. Then after a few hours of playing it later that night it shut off just like the first one. Have it boxed up and ready for an exchange, but it happened so quick I want to wait for credit for the first one. Maybe third time will be the charm.

This is one sharp looking console. This is the newer model and slightly thinner PS4 and the artwork is very well done and looks great. The game included is a physical copy, case and all. My copy did not have a game manual inside of the box--however I believe that is the norm these days. The quick start manual was actually very useful and setup time was under ten minutes. The set comes with everything you need to get up and running immediately: *Uncharted themed console *Blue/grey controller *HDMI cable ( ~8ft - Not gold plated) *Power adapter cable (~5ft) *USB controller cable (~5ft) *Mic/headset that plugs into controller (~4ft) *PS4 manual *Quickstart guide for setting up the console *Sealed copy of Uncharted 4 Pros: *Great looking console. *Came with everything needed to get going out of the box. *Physical copy of uncharted 4 Cons: None Other Considerations: If you want the PS4 hardwired to the internet you will need to provide your own cat 5e or cat 6 cable. This set--understandably--does not come with one. If you do not have a cable you can connect to a network via the wireless NIC inside of the PS4. If you have Wireless N or AC it should be pretty comparable to being wired. The great benefit to being hardwired is slightly better latency(especially in wireless congested areas) and easier--really zero--setup time. Another thing to consider is the fact that this package does NOT contain a vertical stand. If you want one it has to be purchased separately. If you have any further questions regarding the product in my review please leave a comment below and I will get back to you as soon as possible. One last thing: Uncharted fans, you will not be disappointed. I was immediately enjoying the game within a few minutes of starting.

I've hesitated writing a review since so many people have reported having problems with this particular model. I received mine on October 20th. It's March 18th, and it's still going strong. I've left it in rest mode a few times (but not too many) to download games and have used the system quite extensively in that time frame, and it's performed excellently. No problems here (only issue I've had came from a damaged USB charging cable that was shorting out, I determined that was the problem and since then no issues) with the console. Most consoles have had issues from the start or within a week or a month of use so I'm hoping that after 5 months of no problems that I'm mostly in the clear, but of course nothing is guaranteed. I hadn't seen anyone coming back here and posting that their console WAS working fine despite all the reports of faulty ones so I figured I would drop a line and say that mine seems to be functioning fine after a few months of moderate to heavy use. I'll update if that changes, of course. So YMMV but it seems possible that there exist some decently functioning consoles in this batch. It is a pretty console and I do enjoy the look of it. I've just been really paranoid after all the reports of this model having issues for so many people, but mine seems to be doing ok. Edit 10/20/17: It’s officially the one year point and it’s still working just fine. No complaints or hiccups.

The PlayStation 4 comes unopen the remote comes unopen the cables comes un open and the Uncharted game comes un open I've had this PlayStation 4 for about a month now i haven't had any problems turns on every time shuts off every time and enters rest mode as it should and comes out of it as it should reads every game HD Blu-ray PlayStation 4 you stepped up your game this is way better than Xbox One I just sold my Xbox one for this PlayStation 4. I don't know if it's going to have problems in the future or not so I'm not going to say that it's the best but ill say it's well worth the money I haven't had any problem with them no glitches when you first get it it just needs one system update I can say that I don't like the game Uncharted but my brother does it's all about their opinion on the game you can like it I could not it does not include the stand it's separately sold. grips i bought my self.

I ordered this console around Nov. 12th and I absolutely love the design. This is my first time having a console in years and so far I've only had one problem and it happened this morning, I accidently left my ps4 on rest mode last night, and when I went to play this morning the light was not on, and when I tried to boot up I heard the beep from the console, and the blue light turned on, however after a couple of seconds the light turned off and the screen never showed up on my tv. I tried doing the same thing 2 more time, then I unplugged the power cord from the console waited a couple of minutes and plugged it back in. When I clicked the button, the scrrent booted up and the console worked and I was able to play my game. The reason I mention this is because I know that there were similar problems with other people and this console edition similar to mine, and now I'm worried that this might be a recurring problem. I will update if there has been any other problems.

Big fan of the Uncharted series. I bought this Limited Edition bundle with additional Uncharted 4 controller & Uncharted 4 Gold Wireless Headset. Along with Uncharted 4: A Thief's End Collectors Edition Strategy Guide and The Art of Uncharted 4 artbook. Uncharted 4 being the last Nathan series, I wanted these as a memorabilia sort of thing. My system was bought on May 27, 2016. Changed the original hard drive to WD 750GB Black Performance hard drive. I had set my console to turn off in the settings (not rest mode) if idle for extensive time. Recently experienced a similar problem some others have. One day I let it idle too long. It turned off. When I returned, it wouldn't turn back on. I unplugged the power cord from both wall and console for about 5 minutes, plugged it back. It worked. This happened once so far about a month ago for me. But ever since, even if it turns off after idling, it turns back on normally and I try not to idle for a long time to a point where it will change to rest mode or turn off. I'm worried it may happen again. This is the main reason I re-rated to 4 stars from my original 5 stars. As for other issues that many are experiencing, I'm one of the lucky few that doesn't have those problems. My console is used for about 5-6 consecutive hours a night on weekdays and 5-10 consecutive hours on weekends, all for playing games (on disc) only. So it gets used a fair amount. But still no problem about turning off automatically during use. Will continue to post updates regarding this particular console.
