Overall it's a good coat. It's thick and warm but not the ugly tufted puffer coat style. I wear a women's size 16 and ordered a xxl which fits well and can fit a bulky sweater or hoodie underneath. When you sit down the bottom zipper may creep up a little due to the tension but that's better than it busting open. The lining of the pocket tore when I first got it but they replaced it for free and the second one is perfect. Would recommend ... show more

This is a great jacket. It kept me warm during our trip to Big Bear CA. I loved everything about it except after one wash it puffed up a lot and I did not like the way it looked after. Maybe dry cleaning would be better? I’m 5’1 about 150lbs and it fit perfect. I ordered the one in black and just orders the navy blue one. I love that it is long and has pockets inside. The media could not be loaded. I got the purple (eggplant) in a 3X because I wear xl-2xl normally, but I have broad shoulders and really big arms from having lymphoedema and lipoedema. To start, it was very fitted on my arms. I'm not sure I can wear a hoodie with it, but it's so warm I was sweating by the time i took it off after a few minutes so I think it's A warm enough coat for California to not need an extra sweater. It's down past my hips, zips fine. Zipper seems strongn and thick, and it's the kind where it has 2 so you can zip the bottom open for more mobility. The inside is lined with a very dark gray/light black fur that is almost fleece. The inside of the zip-on hood has the same, and the fur on the hood is black, thick and luxurious. The sleeves have black cuffs at the wrist like on a sweatshirt under the purple sleeve itself so no cold can enter that way. The hood strings are black with a gold metal tip. Which matches the buttons. The back has a strip of elastic that gathers, and this a band on each side that you can button 2 different places to make the waist tighter, or leave open altogether for the largest waist circumfrence. The pockets fit your hands at a perfect angle and are deep. Love the color too! It's a dark purple. I was worried because you never know what time or shade you're going to actually get. After trying two other coats, I decided on this one. It’s a very nice coat. The fabric is beautiful as is the blue color. It’s such nice quality, was packaged in a box and not just cramed into a bag. It has a flattering fit, the fur around the hood is pretty and the hood fits well and doesn’t fall into my eyes. It’s very warm and a good weight. Medium fit well but I sent it back and sized up to large to give more room for fleece and sweaters underneath. I will be using this for an upcoming trip to Iceland. I may order another one in a different color in medium. I love it that much. ... show more

This is a perfectly nice looking coat (it's somewhere between coat and jacket length) that is perfectly fine for cold but not freezing weather. I like that the hood is lined and detachable and that it has real cuffs to keep out snow and wind. It's slim and lightweight. However, I live in Minnesota and last week each day was at least -20 before windchill. This coat is pretty much useless for that. I'm going to keep it because it is nice looking and there are things about it that I like. It'll be great for November, March, and April, when the parka is a bit too much. But I subtracted one star for it really not being any warmer than a well made hoodie, and another star because I am quite sure that zipper is going to break within a few months of use. ... show more
