I bought this for my wife as a Christmas gift. I didn't know what to expect so I was going off of other reviews, and until she opened it I was dreadful. (I've purchased items before and made her cry, in my defense I didn't know petite was small, I thought it meant cute, and it was 10 years ago) When I wrapped it, it was very soft. When she opened it she was very happy at the design and color scheme. She loved the length, the softness and it fit perfectly. I've heard two people compliment her on it and one had to know where she got it. I sent them the link. She stated others have complimented on it too. She is very happy, which makes me very happy, and she is now looking at other colors to buy. The one and only complaint she said she had was that it didn't keep her warm. (She's usually cold anyway, and it is 27 degrees outside.) It is a thinner material not like my pea coat, thicker than flannel, but not as thick as an alpaca blanket. (I may get beat here,) but she has a larger belly, and this was roomy and fit her very well. It honestly looks really nice on her. (for the record, we are not fat, we are just easy to see, sometimes we're funny) She is 5'9 and the length was good, she typically wears an 18 pants and XL tops. I love this jacket! I wear it all the time! it's good for the price. You can tell that you paid only like 30 dollars for it. A couple things to note is that it is very very oversized. I bought a small. I am 5'7" @ around 180 lbs DD bra size. I think it fits me well at a size small. The front is very flattering, the back/side can have more of the boxy/straight look. The sleeves felt a little short, probably because it is a small, but they don't look like it runs small. It's more of the feeling for me. This is also not a winter jacket. This is definitely more for fashion. This will not by any means keep you warm in 40 degree weather or below unless you wear something sleek and warm underneath that's meant to keep you warm. I would consider this jacket to be more of a spring/fall 50 degree weather and up with a long sleeve under it. ... show more

I absolutely love this jacket. While it's lightweight, it's still quite warm. It's very comfortable and soft. No itchiness. I wasn't sure that the style would work for me, but I'm very pleased. I ordered size small, which is what I should normally wear, but the one I got seems like a large. It's HUGE! I can't possibly wear it as a shirt or even a dress because it's so big. I’m 5’11 over 200 lbs. This hits me at my knees, slightly lower. I wear this in the fall in Michigan. I’ve worn it with cropped tank. It’s a little scratchy in the arms for that. I’ve worn it with a sweater as well. Never buttoned it all the way. Get compliments on it. Washes up nice
