Bought this for my wife for her birthday on May 15th and I may have accidentally created a new household obsession. The second she put it on, she wrapped herself up in it like a luxury burrito and refused to take it off. Honestly, I don’t blame her. She looked absolutely beautiful in it — cozy, classy, and well sexy as hell! As a husband, this was one of those rare gifts where you actually nail it and earn bonus points for weeks afterward. Highly recommend to all the husbands out there who want their wife to feel spoiled, confident, and warm enough to survive a meat locker. 10/10 purchase.

Let me start off by saying I really like this coat. It’s soft, super comfy and my boyfriend loves snuggling up on me with it! It definitely is more of a showy coat to make any outfit look put together. It’s not gonna keep you warm in 0 degree weather or below. But it is perfect for a chilly 45 degree day in Seattle. My first thought was that the lining part looked really cheap and ugly. I was kind of expecting it to just be all fuzzy even on the inside. Based on the reviews some people had fuzzy on the inside and some had the lining like mine. So I’m giving it 1 star off for that cheap kind of look even though the jacket it’s self is not cheap. With 35$ I can find a BOMB way better quality coat at Ross or Marshall’s. But I’m not gonna return it because I still like it. Also, my coat doesn’t look as “wooly and thick” as in the picture. I noticed when some people washed and dried their coat it would change the texture to look more like the model picture. Mine didn’t change. It’s fine I guess but it’s false advertising. One other reason why I’m giving it a star down is although it fits true to size , I got medium but I am 5 7 and the sleeves could have been a little longer. The length came just above my knees and I wish it was a little longer. I don’t wanna go through the hassle of exchanging so I guess I will keep it but I would have been a full blown happy customer were the sleeves longer. I’m worried if I got large it would be too big. For reference I am 5 7 , 34c and 150 pounds. Medium fit true to size. If you are shorter, then the sleeves and length should be fine for you. So overall 4/5. Happy to have a cute coat for the winter tho

Without realizing that I own this same exact jacket in another color I ordered this. The previous jacket I have owned for a good 5+ years and it is a size large. When I got this jacket I tried the large size and it seemed not to fit as well as my older jacket so I returned for an XL and I much prefer the fit. The red color is very vibrant and it’s very soft. After some steaming the jacket looks amazing as is nice and fluffy. It’s not super heavy weight but I live in California so don’t typically need too heavy of jackets. Clearly I’ve owned this exact brand / style jacket for at least 5 years at this point and it’s still going strong so I have high hopes for my new bright red as well. I will say it’s not the most flattering shape coat since it has kind of a rectangular shape to it but I still love it.

It is very warm and good quality for the money. The color iPad amazing and versatile. The lining is thin but coat is very warm. I wore it throughout the winter. So easy to put on and extremely comfortable. It can be dressed up or dressed down. I wore it with pants, jeans, and sweats!

This is a great coat. I had originally purchased the coat in a dark gray and without the pockets and buttons. It was soft, comfy and fit well (I ordered a medium) but I felt it looked a bit like a robe/sweater bc it didn't have pockets and/or buttons. I ended up returning it bc I had second thoughts on the color and the style. Additionally it did shed a bit as I took it out of the package and tried it on. I had read previous reviews of that happening to other customers and that it had stopping shedding after it was washed, but since I returned that coat I can't comment if that would of worked for me. But I did reorder the coat, this time in Camel and with the pocket and buttons and I LOVE IT!!! It is still soft and fuzzy and does keep me warm. I did not have the same problem with any shedding with this coat as I did with the previous one I ordered. I also prefer the style with the pockets and buttons bc it give a "coat effect" vs the style without the pockets giving it a "sweater or robe" effect. But that is my preference. Both options are great, I just preferred the camel color and pocket style better. The only thing I didn't like is that it came in a clear vacuumed-sealed back for all to see what I ordered. This has been happening a lot more lately on purchases I have made with Amazon. I understand it could be more cost effective and better for the climate/environment but would be great if the bags were not clear with your order on full display. Maybe a package that is opaque so its less transparent when delivered.

So before I talk about the coat, I want to address something that I have seen in some of the reviews: This Teddy Coat does not look like the product picture with the model. If you scroll down to the details, they look more like those. Now, they are “robe like” but that’s what they are suppose to be. They are plush like (like a stuffed animal or teddy bear), so I can see why people think it looks more like a robe, but it has a noticeable lapel and more structured than a robe. They are actually pretty well made and super soft for the price! This look is not for everyone, but if you keep your outfit minimal with some cute boots and fashionable crossbody bag, you can make it look chic. This is me show the lapel so you can see the collar and material in natural sunlight. The thing I recommend is to try it first dressed as you would, makeup done etc, and see if you like the look. If not you can always return it and if you do like it, just wash it before you use it because it sheds a little bit. I got a medium which fits right, but i think I should have gotten a Large to give it that “oversized “ look I was going for. I’m tall so it works out for me, but if you’re shorter, you might want to look for a shorter one. But honestly in the Maine cold, I feel all nice and cozy in it! I love it. Definitely worth trying.

Updating my original 1-star review below to reflect a couple of things. 1. The seller is wonderful. When I contacted them for a return they were quick to respond, apologetic for the issues and offered a large discount in lieu of a return since return shipping would be more than the credit. I opted to keep the item and take the discount. 2. I have worn this all “winter” in Charleston and lent it to several friends when they just had to try it. Not only do I get lots of compliments and “oh! I want one!” It is so incredibly soft and warm! It even kept my poor mother warm at a hospital visit when the ER blankets couldn’t. I stand by my concerns with the overall cut and sewing of the jacket but find that people say it is flattering, fun and comfy anyway. I am tempted to order more as gifts just to make friends and family happy and cozy. ORIGNAL REVIEW: Having read reviews I ordered this coat expecting a soft, oversized item that could be construed as a bath robe or just a cool, fluffy outer layer. The product that arrived is fluffy and oversized but is sewn in such a way that it never quite falls into place as a coat or robe. The back panel is too narrow so that the pockets fall uncomfortably behind the position of normal pockets. The collate sticks up and out in all sorts of directions no matter how it is poked and prodded. The worst part is the bottom seam of the coat. If you look at the pictures, you can see that the hem puckers quite significantly. I so wanted this to work as a cozy-throw-on piece for running to the store or picking up kids. Unfortunately the construction made that impossible.
