Where do I start? I've owned many Weber grills over the last 30 plus years. I've liked every one of them, until I bought this one. After opening the box, I notice some damage to the door, and one side panel, and another place or two, even though there was no sign of damage to the box, don't understand that. I decided to keep it and straightened a couple of places, and gently hammered a few buckled areas. My next hurdle was finding out I was missing parts. I had no way to attach the door to the front, since nothing included would work with that issue. I decided to worry about that later and finish the assembly. The first problem I had was the so called assembly manual! It doesn't come with one; it has a small manual with pictures but no text, nothing to explain how to install anything. Some of the pics were apparently for another model, and not the Spirit E-325 I ordered. The second day I got so frustrated with the whole process, I just called amazon and asked how I could get a new box to return it. I cut the box apart as instructed to get all the parts out. amazon asked if I wanted a refund of replacement. I said refund, but how am I going to return this useless pile of whatever it is. amazon immediately said we'll refund your purchase price, there's no need to return it. I thought I misunderstood, but they said no keep it, were processing the refund, and they did. Thank goodness for amazon putting customer satisfaction above supplier greed. I know some reading this will think I am some dummy that lacks the skills to assemble the thing, but I can assure you, I've assembled more things than most here can even imagine. I'm going to give it to someone who wants it, and is wiling to southern engineer into a workable grill After this fiasco, I'll never buy anything from Weber in the future, no matter how bad I need it, and if your considering this grill, I would suggest finding one on the floor somewhere, assemble. I'd look it over very well, and make sure it was assembled properly before buying. ... show more

I love Weber grills. I bought this one to replace another that was over 10 years old and had served me well. While I do love their grills, I really do not love the documentation that comes along with it. This isn't a Weber unique problem these days but here are the issues I saw. Assembly instructions were basically just a series of pictures with zero to minimal written pointers or directions. This resulted in having to partially disassemble the grill twice to get it together properly. Documentation and operating instructions were written in the smallest possible font in the known universe. I assume this was to save paper costs. It was barely readable. My initial impression is disappointment. I have always held the belief that Weber offers superior grilling products. That is what influenced me to pay the extra to get one. The box and packing were in perfect condition when it arrived which only means the damaged parts were knowingly packed by Weber. One of the side piece was bent. Then, the stabilizer brackets under the knobs do not line up with both holes. You can only screw one in. You also cannot bend to adjust bc the gas line is attached and could be compromised. I still haven’t been able to rate the grilling quality because an extra fitting is needed between the gas stub on the patio and what Weber provided to connect. Most likely won’t get a Weber again. ... show more

Evidently natural gas grills are limited in inventory. Long time from order till shipping. Package was damaged by forklift or in handling. The two main base side panels were bent. My first attempt at assembly was very discouraging. Using my ingenuity and tenacity and patience, we got it all put together. First attempt at lighting failed, hose was blocked by brass plug valve. I eliminated that by removing and tossing. Completed burn in at 500 degrees and all seems well now. Hamburgers are thawing. Boy they will taste good.
