I've had a giant slab of a phone (S22 Ultra) for a year and a half. Every single phone holder I've tried ultimately cannot handle its mass - they break, fall off, wobble, tip, and so on. Last month I changed car insurance companies and now have an app on my phone which measures, among other things, my phone's lateral movement (fast stops). Letting my phone flop around loose in my cup holder wasn't going to cut it anymore. In desperation I ordered this one; I'd always thought the Weather Tech was too pricey. It's absolutely perfect! My giant phone fits great and doesn't budge, even with an Incipio Duo case on it. Only needed to remove one cup to fit my 2019 Honda CRV. Even though I would have preferred the height with two cups removed, the smaller cup didn't fit snugly enough so stayed with the single cup removal. I do know I could have wrapped tape around the smaller cup for a tight fit but really didn't want to mess with that. Bottom line, after all the money I wasted on a slew of inferior products, I wish I'd just bought this thing in the first place. Certainly would have been cheaper overall. My recommendation, bite the bullet and just buy this one first. ... show more

WeatherTech always has very solid products. A bonus is you can adjust the size of the cup it goes into by adding or removing the cups. The only downside is that with this particular model you cannot turn the phone sideways when its in the holder. WeatherTech does offer a holder that does that, but not this model. ... show more

I appreciate that WeatherTech is made in the USA, that is why I spent the extra money on this phone holder. The issue for me is that the cups are all nested into each other extremely tightly when they arrive. It comes with a little crescent shaped piece of plastic that you are supposed to place into a 'keyhole' on the bottom of the nested cups and push down to separate. Good luck with that. The plastic key piece is about a 1/2 tall which makes it difficult to see where the keyhole shape is on the bottom of the cups when you are trying to line it up, and its also off centered to one side so when you apply pressure to the top of the cups it basically moves all of the pressure to one side of the cups and offsets direct downward pressure which leads to it flopping around to the side while you're trying to separate them. I read one review on Amazon that someone posted about this, but they mentioned that they suffered from arthritis. I assumed that it wasn't that bad. Well, boy was I wrong. Thankfully I do not have arthritis but woe be to anyone else that does when trying to get these cups separated. I ended up getting a very small flathead screwdriver and inserting it into the separation hole of the first cup and gently working around in a circle to loosen them that way. I had to do this for each cup. I assume WeatherTech nests these cups to save on packaging, but they really need to put some type of separation in between all of the cups to make the installation easy. Even a small piece of cardboard at the bottom of each cup would work, anything to keep them from getting locked together. At the end of the day, the selling point for me is they are made in America. Ease of install is 1 star, which seems ridiculous but I spent about 30 minutes trying to get these cups apart. ... show more
