I bought these to redirect airflow from one of my ceiling vents, and they’ve done exactly what I hoped they would. Installation only took a couple of minutes. One of the magnetic strips had come loose inside the packaging, but it wasn’t damaged and simply snapped back into place, so it wasn’t an issue. Once installed, the deflector stayed securely in place, was easy to adjust to the angle I wanted, and redirected the airflow exactly where I needed it. The magnets have held well, and I haven’t had to readjust it after installation. I also like that it doesn’t draw attention to itself. The clear plastic blends in well with the vent, so it’s noticeable only if you’re specifically looking for it. If you need an easy way to redirect airflow from a ceiling vent without permanently modifying anything, this is a simple solution that works well. I’d definitely buy it again. ... show more

    • Super for baseboard ac vents!
Alexa helped me find this. Most of my ac vents are just above the baseboard, so shoots cold air pretty much straight out about 6 inches off the floor. These adjustable vent deflectors help push the cold air up and combined with a strategically placed fan helps cool down a room better than not. They seem lightweight and flimsy, but the magnets on the deflector holds it securely in place. These deflectors made a difference in the comfort level here in the heatdome. They are adjustable to fit the vent. I have one on every vent. Worth every penny. Not too expensive. ... show more

    • Low cost passive product that noticeably improves temperature gradient for low central AC.
Year number 2 using these guys. I love them. The magnets keep them sufficiently secure for my vents, so they're super easy to install in the summer and take off for the winter with no need to use screws.. They're light, but seem pretty sturdy. The adjustable size is easy to use, and makes it so you can line the magnets up where you need to. As for effectiveness, I think it's subtle but noticeable. They help rotate the air in the room, as my place has floor vents and returns for both heat and central AC, and the extra vertical movement helps avoid the pooling of cold air and improves the temperature gradient of the house. Not as effective as ceiling fans, which would be ideal for this setup, but having a low cost passive product that helps is great. Just as a word, if you have small children I'd assume you might want to screw them on, but you can do that too. ... show more

Clear plastic is high quality, and expandable, Magnetic design allows them to fit any width of vent. Really helps redirect the air flow to focused areas of the room.
