After my daughter had her bike stolen at her college campus, she had to figure a way to travel around campus faster than walking but not having to risk getting another bike stolen. The adult sized scooter met those needs perfectly with it’s lightweight size, easy way to fold up and carry with the shoulder strap. The bigger wheels give it a really smooth ride.

I bought this in January 2023. In April 2024, the back wheel broke. Whatever gizmos hold the back wheel in place are just totally broken. The product description on Amazon says "【Lifetime Service】WAYPLUS Quick reply within 24 hours. Parts warehouses all over the US. Make after-sales service easier and effective." How do I contact Wayplus? I have looked all over Amazon, the Wayplus store, and the internet at large, and I simply cannot find a way to contact Wayplus for after-sales service or parts. Edit: Never mind! Amazon put me in contact with Wayplus, I emailed Wayplus, and they have now shipped me a replacement scooter. It's a great warranty after all! Good quick service too.

Pros: love the variety of color options, able to fit varying heights and body size, seems overall very durable. Way better quality of foot deck material and wheels than we've seen on other scooters. Cons: the small bolts on the top handle bar piece vibrated loose multiple times. Need to find spares since at least one has fallen out mid ride. Additionally, we bought 2, 1 in teal and 1 in purple. One of the kick stands are great and the other forces a tilt so far to the left that it can't possibly stay upright...so mostly useless on one of them.

I bought a scooter for myself and I’m so happy I did. I can get around quicker during the lunch break and it’s so easy to use and carry. I had a scooter growing up and so it was fun to get one now as an adult. I like that there’s 2 areas to secure the handle bar height. It’s a smooth ride and I haven’t had any issues.

This was an awesome birthday gift for our 7 year old! The handlebar easily changes heights and makes it a multi age friendly scooter for sure! It rides smoothly and was basically assembled upon arrival! Couldn’t be happier with this! Will be purchasing for friends gifts without a doubt!

The media could not be loaded. 2022-1018 * Edit Pros: (1) The wider deck is good for children; (2) the handlebars attach more securely than competitors with the lockdown mechanism; (3) comes with a strap; (4) plastic allows for slightly easier folding over competitors; (5) light brake is easier for children; (6) shock assists with bumps along with larger than avg wheel (i.e. trust me when I say you want larger wheels to go over bumps….remember there is no air in those tires) Cons: (1) wide deck for an adult is less stable when over 150 lbs; (2) the shock helps with bumps but not with turning; (3) plastic locking mechanism; (4) kickstand…like most scooters don’t work well (i.e. take a wrench and wrap it long ways and bend mount into best position. Overall, this is a nice scooter for the kids. I ride scooters a ton in the summer with my wife and the boys and this is my eldest sons favorite. I can’t give it 5 stars, but I couldn’t even do that for my A6 Lux Razor which I prefer because I'm taller. When comparing this with the A5 Lux with price, this will depend on what features you value more (e.g. wider deck or stability). The other scooter they carry is their best version: (1) it has a slimmer deck but is super stable. (2) locking mechanism is full on metal with a simple push button release that works smoothly; (3) kickstand worked out of the box; (4) "along with all but one other feature listed as pros" listed for the wide scooter above (5) the skinnier scooter is priced really well compared to the A5 Lux (i.e. at the moment this is cheaper). I have pics of both scooters I own. Whatever scooter you buy, as long as it has decent sized wheels, is always worth it. They fit well in the back of every car, you can take them on trip in a bag, and it is fun to cruz ; ) ****** I had a customer service issue that was handled very well after I spoke with Amazon and an official Wayplus person through e-mail. ****** 1st review with the wider deck for an adult (the kids like it) I wanted to like it. Pros: not to heavy, like the idea of a suspension, and it looks decent, brake was nice and light Cons: very understable, while turning can create opportunity for launch forward, not smooth steering, brake was too light for an adult, 2 different size wheels, front lock is plastic!?, deck feels like plastic because aluminum is so thin. _________________________ ***EDIT 2022 0907 receiving e-mails to modify reviews is annoying, please switch to customer service reps like the one who responded to me I've now received dozens of e-mails from random e-mails to delete my review and get a credit from the seller. I shouldn't have to delete my review to get a credit if they say their product is "always" improving. This part of my review is left up try and negate companies wishing to use these services despite being offered 30, 40, and finally 50 dollars to delete my review. *Note...I did have a decent conversation with both Amazon and Customer Support. Read review on why the slimmer scooters are better overall : ) I tried to have a decent conversation with them, they sent back an auto text for deletion and how to delete. Honest conversation = I can help them improve their product and test for them etc (i.e. as I am an avid scooter rider once or twice a week with the kiddos). * Final Note the features and current price of 80 dollars for the scooter, is worth the price. I do not feel the more expensive wider deck is worth more. Comparing it to razer, well, I can just say I would by the 80 dollar version of wayplus over that of the A5 lux. The A6 lux however, is my favorite due to its longer neck length for taller people (6 ft. plus).
