  • Very Satisfied
Size: Antenna Only - Use Your Own Cables
After struggling with end of the line DSL for ten years I got a TMobile gateway. I'm not situated in an ideal location for TMobile reception and maxed out at two bars on the gateway. Nonetheless the results were very good and the data stream was an order of magnitude better. After researching it I bought this antenna and was very pleasantly surprised. Firstly the customer support was almost literally unbelievable in this day and age. I was contacted and sent coordinates in from which they created and emailed to me a site survey with all the nearest TMobile towers. They followed up on every communication with offers of help. After installing the antenna the results were gratifying. I picked up another bar reception signal on the gateway and the speed increased impressively. I did some speed tests before and after the installation and the results were: Before: Spectrum internet speed test: 139mbs Ookla: 166mbs After: Spectrum: 176mbs Ookla: up to 401 mbs. If you are contemplating 5G internet with iffy reception this could be the solution. ... show more

  • Works better than advertised!
Size: Complete Kit w/ 10' Cable & Window Entry
Worth every penny! Increased speeds from average of 30 to well over 200mbps. Easy to setup with the “through the window” provided cable. Very happy with the purchase!

  • Necessary accessory with great customer support.
Size: Antenna Only - Use Your Own Cables
Must have for 5g home internet routers. This antenna doesn't increase reception, but increases upload and download speeds 10% - 30%. Very significant speed increase. And customer support is excellent! They will help you with the setup of the software and identify where the closest cell towers in your area are for optimal placement of the antenna. ... show more

  • Works good, but expensive

Cable internet is pretty terrible where we live, so I was looking for something more reliable. I went with a T-Mobile gateway at my house. I tried different locations in my house for the gateway (with internal antenna) and the best I could get was 116 Mbps download and 2.1 Mbps upload. I was also only getting 2 bars of signal strength. The nearest cell tower is 0.8 miles from my house. I checked what folks were doing to get faster throughput and a lot of people had good luck with this antenna. When I installed this antenna in the same location as my gateway, I was getting slightly better throughput and no signal gain. I tried a variety of locations, but no real gains. Many folks were mounting these antennas on their house or in their attic, but to do that you need an extension cable to get to the gateway (which needs to be indoors). I bought an Outdoor Rated 10' Waveform UltraFlex-Quad Cable, Low-Loss Quad-195 Extension Cable so I could mount this on my roof and cable to my gateway inside. I am now getting above 250 Mbps download and 3.8 Mbps upload and 2 bars signal strength. It's working well now, but I have $262 invested. Cable internet for 250Mbps (when it worked) cost $130 per month and T-Mobile is charging me $50 per month, so I am saving $80 per. So, the antenna and cables should pay for themselves in 3 months. Hopeful I continue to get good throughput with T-Mobile. The antenna and cables are on my roof and fully exposed to the elements. Both are supposed to be rated for outdoor use. The documentation recommends mounting on the said of the house, so my roof location should be similar. We'll see how the antenna and antenna do over time in the elements. Overall, the antenna and cables seem good quality. The antenna comes with a stand mount, suction cup mounts (for window mount), and a pole mount kit. I used the pole mount and a plastic mount for my roof (I did not want to use a metal mount due to possible antenna interference). One quick note, there are rubber boots on each wire. At first I could not figure out what these were for, but once I installed an extension cable I realized that these slide over the cable connectors once you the extension is attached to seal the connection from weather/water. ... show more

  • It saved my remote work capabilities
Size: Antenna Only - Use Your Own Cables
Emery easy to install and had enough impact on signal to keep my video meetings and all streaming needs solid. I live in on the fringe of service and over the years have tried satellite services and multiple cellular companies. Now more cellular internet providers have 5g unlimited plans that rival cable or fiber or even less expensive. Easy coast forests get dense and dark during the summers. I forget about the service impact until around late March each year. Over the winter I switched from a 4G RV plan to a home T-Mobile 5G plan and jumped from 40ish mps to well over 200 download as well as I did not connect the 2x2 mimo antenna I had installed on the roof years ago. Then warmer weather. With the sneezing came choppy video calls and slower downloads. At first I thought the worse of a now popular/congested system then the aha moment. I moved the modem to an upper window location from the mechanical room and it greatly improved then held it outside the window on a temp mount and I was back in business. The Waveform mini reflected that bump in service exactly. My download speeds were back to what I have during the winter or better (300-500 depending on how the wind blows) and uploads from 1-2 to stable 6-12. Most importantly ping dropped from 89 to 39 and hasn’t changed. The data doesn’t reflect the real world use and experience. Work from home is now possible again with out concern and I’m a happy camper. Some things I didn’t know but guessed - the attached antenna cables are 3’ long and if you want an easy install get the kit with the window pass through. It is incredibly important to get the antenna OUTSIDE of the house even if on the other side of the same window pane. ... show more
