I am absolutely amazed by these water rebirth pumps. I have 2 3100, 1 5200 and 3 9800 pumps. I thought my 5200 was dead so I purchased another 9800 to upgrade it. After running new pipe for my water feature and tossing the 9800 in. (Beautiful results by the way) I decided to take apart and see why the 5200 died. Turns out it didn't die, it was just super dirty after being in my 1/2 acre pond for 5+ years. I cleaned it and all my old pumps including the last 9800 that I thought died last year, they run like new!!!! They went from humming with no major water movement to like out of the box. The 9800s run my water feature, and a floating fountain. The 5200 has become the dog wash pump. My only problem is what do I make the 2 3100 and my now extra 9800 into... ... show more

Froze up and died after 6 weeks of use in the backyard pond/waterfall. Sure, you can get with customer service and waste your time, but then 6 weeks later it happens again... right. I don't have time for that. The old saying, you get what you pay for. Buy the high-priced, high-quality, and get more than six weeks in a backyard pond. (Of course, 6 weeks is just outside the Amazon return window... anyone need a paperweight?) ... show more
