About this cause, my elder dog sometimes has accidents on the bed and so far it has held up perfectly. I would say definitely go one size up so you have a little bit more room. It's easy to wash and dry. The drying part takes a little bit longer to depend on the size bed you have and you just gotta watch it so it doesn't melt but so far it's pretty good.
