ok, first of all, I am a female with no formal mechanical training. I can change my oil and that sort of basic thing, but I usually go to a mechanic for actual issues. This was very easy to install on my lawn mower. I watched a quick YouTube video and knew exactly what to do. My biggest issue was the placement of the top right screw being at such an awkward angle to get to, but that is the fault of the design and not the starter.
