Bought this for a big burkey. 2.25 gallon. It was nice good quality build the flow out of the nozzle was nice, only returned because the ball never lined up to the water level. Bought the right size. Did the steps but it would never be level. Maybe I got the wrong one but double checked. Also the height being above the dividing line of thr burkey kinda drove me crazy ... show more

I bought this to replace the one I have. Since it has the red ball in it I thought it would be easier to see. I also like how it is made of metal, not plastic. However, no matter how much I tighten this thing, it still drips water around the outside of the valve body. I wouldn't recommend this item to anyone. If you want to be able to determine how much more water your filter can handle without overflowing, markings on the glass are helpful. It’s simple to DIY. 1. Fill the top chamber as usual and allow all of the water to filter. 2. On the glass, mark the top of the water line with permanent marker (it can always be removed with rubbing alcohol.). 3. In a measured container, dispense a quart or half gallon of water, depending on how close you want your markings. 4. Mark the new water line. 5. Repeat 3 & 4 until water line is below the glass. ... show more
