  • Adjust the water level between the lowest and highest water level in the heater part of the product and connect the power of the product.
  • Be sure to soak it in water before operating it. Operating outside of water may cause short circuit or product failure. If the heater unit accidentally operates for a short time outside of the water, soak the heater in cool water and operate it again after 30 minutes.
  • After reaching the maximum temperature of 140 degrees Fahrenheit, it is automatically maintained at 104 degrees Fahrenheit to 140 degrees, so it is easy to handle.
  • Heating 5 gallons of water to 104 degrees Fahrenheit takes about 10 to 13 minutes, which is pretty fast.

I have purchased easily 10 different bucket heaters off of Amazon and this one definitely stands out from the rest. So much so I am taking the time to write a review, something I can’t stand doing and rarely waste the time to do. But every other one I’ve purchased had either just suddenly stopped working (after very little time WORKING) or they didn’t accomplish what I was looking for them to accomplish. Some of them got the water too hot and I had no way to regulate it. This one is perfect. It has stood the test of time and I’m fairly impressed with its functionality. I’ve spent over twice what this one cost on some and they didn’t last half as long. I recommend this purchase, the best one I’ve made on a product of this nature ever.     • Will heat a large tank but...

This heater worked great to heat a 150-gallon tank in fact it made as warm as bath water. The catch here is that the first one I purchased melted. They were very good about the return. I have not used the new one yet but hopefully it doesn't do the same

UPDATE: I bought two of the larger heaters and the black box at the top melted down. Do not buy the larger heater only the small one. It works great! This heater works! I use it in a 12' x 3' inflatable pool (1815 gallons) and it heated it (with help from a solar cover) from 72 degrees to 86 degrees in 24 hours. This was with cloudy weather that was in the low 80's plus some rain. The filter I use is a 1000gph filter that moves the water around really well. I highly recommend this product! I have an 8x30" round Intex pool. It's in a lovely shaded glade, so the water is always freezing cold. I find it refreshing, but now I have a grandson. I bought this hoping it would at least take the chill off, but my goodness! It warmed the pool to around 85 degrees (my guess) in just a few hours! I'm going to be able to flop into my pool all year round now, and my grandson will splash and coo and have a great time. I am very, very pleased with this purchase. ... show more
