I just received, and began using, this device very recently. So I can't attest to the battery life or ease of use while traveling. I can say that I have been using this device for about a week now and I am very happy with it so far. It is very similar to the water flossers I've had in the past. It has only three power settings which is plenty. I like the simplicity. While I have not traveled with this particular unit I have traveled with other units that are very similar, so I don't expect this to be a problem. very pleased with this water flosser after i figured out that it was nearly fully charged out of the box. it is powerful and easy to use. the water reservoir is larger than the older model i had so i don't have to refill it so often to do a thorough job. also, the charge seems to last longer than the older model, so less time needed attached to the wall. i like the modern black look. REVISED REVIEW - it never occurred to me that this flosser shipped almost fully charged. initially i thought this flosser did not charge because the charging light only flashed briefly, so i assumed it did not work and gave a 1-star review. too lazy to return it so i tossed it in the back of the linen closet. something made me try again and i've been using (and charging) successfully for several weeks. ... show more

I am returning without actually using it. When I received it I found it has two issues I consider important. 1) The on/off switch does not have a delay. It is too easy to accidentally press the on button and spray water all over the bathroom. My last flosser you have to hold the button down briefly before it starts. OFF is immediate. 2) The water reservoir is tall extending the entire height of the flosser. The openings at the top and the fill port are both small, about a half inch.
