In November it would have been 3 years since the purchase of my initial waterpik. I truly should have written a review much sooner but life gets busy. I have absolutely loved this waterpik from the moment I received it. It’s made a huge difference in my overall oral health. Since I’ve now joined the ranks of a senior citizen it’s very important to be diligent with oral hygiene. This product has fit the bill. Unfortunately just shy of 3 months before my warranty expired I started experiencing issues with the unit not charging. I contacted customer service and spoke with Jasmine. She was amazing! Since the product was still under warranty she was able to honor the warranty and within minutes she had completed the process. I was told it would be 10 to 14 days to receive the new unit however less than a week later the new one arrived!     • Saves on Dental Visits
Since I’ve been using this toothbrush/water flosser my dental visits have been much easier! My teeth feel dental clean every time I use it. The timer helps as well. Sometimes I add mouthwash or hydrogen peroxide to the water for flossing. I’ve had this for 5 years and love it like it’s new!

    • Finally WP that works in 220v but still waiting for the perfect WaterPik product...
First, the ONLY reason i bought this was to be able to use it confidently in 220v-240v countries. (Thus, i am regretful that their WP900 etc series don't offer this capacity.) So, i bought the SF-02 (black was much cheaper than white) for the voltage flexibility. Therefore, i will now review the SF-02 on its own merits but with inevitable comparisons to the WP900. A). SIZE: the flosser coming through the toothbrush makes for a more compact system (good for travel) and with a far smaller (about 1/3 size) reservoir, the entire product is substantially smaller than the WP900. That's great. B). FLOSS-TOOTHBRUSH COMBO: i feel the idea is gimmicky but it does clean my teeth well. however, it is somewhat self-defeating in that the flosser effectively removes 75% of the toothpaste with the first big spit and the remaining 25% of the toothpaste with the second big spit. So, i floss first and take advantage of the soft bristle brush and THEN apply toothpaste and just brush without the flosser. Thus, gimmicky. C). STRENGTH OF FLOSSER AND BRUSH: If you grew accustomed to the pressures of the WP900, you will be disappointed. The flosser strength at max (10) is about equivalent to 5 on the WP900. The brush (only one setting on the SF-02) is closer to the strength of the WP900 weaker setting than the stronger setting. So, i feel disappointed and make myself feel better by saying that maybe the WP pros know that more is not always more. Perhaps, this softer approach is just or more effective. (but, this is just blind faith.) D). TOOTHBRUSH. it seems to work just fine but i will admit that the whiny sound of the motor feels like a massive downgrade from the professional sound/feeling of the WP900 brush. (By comparison, the flosser is much quieter than the WP900.) E). PRODUCT SUGGESTION. IT is well known by DYI like me that the toothbrush battery runs dead in a short while (a year or so). The constant plugged in setting drains these little AAA series bats inside and that the company recommends (only in a face-to-face conversation... not in any of their literature) that you really should plug in the machine, charge the brush, then run it down to 1/3 capacity and then repeat. That is how those batteries work best. Additionally, we know that the company chose to create a product where the batteries are not easily replaceable (they say you cannot replace them). DIYers like me know that with a soldering gun and some effort, the batteries can be replaced for about 10$ adding another year or more with every change-out. But, again, this is like open-heart surgery and voids warrantees etc... but is doable. SO, NOW TO MY PRODUCT SUGGESTION: WHY DON'T THEY JUST PUT A SWITCH ON THE PLUG CHORD OR MACHINE? Then, we can turn off the product after every use and drain - charge - drain - charge the battery as needed? (I know, i know... i can just unplug it and that is what i do. but its crude. IF this is a "PROFESSIONAL" machine, we can ask for professional designing.) In summary, i am happy to have this new travel set and will take it on a sixth month trip into 220v land but, honestly, regret that they just didn't upgrade the WP900 to be 220v compatible. i find the WP900 to be a better overall product but one that's not travel-worthy (big and 110v only). Hope this helps. (by the way, i am not educated on using step-down transformers to just plug the 110v WP900 into 220v outlets. Others who know more than i should comment on this if you are willing. I've been told the issue is more with the current than just voltage... but i don't know.) ... show more

    • Needs Longer Time allowances
It arrived early and undamaged. I like the ability to water-pik rather than floss. Unfortunatly, the water tank is so small I have to fill it 7-9 times to do all my teeth in one treatment. As for brushing: 1st, I have never used such a small brush head. I guess it is better to get inbetween each tooth. 2nd, the brush head vibration seems so fast - had to adjust to it. 3rd, the length of timer allows for brushing: I think the little notifications for changing sections is too short. 4th, Brush heads get turned off WAY TOO SOON. I have to turn them back on 4-6 times to brush my whole set of teeth. Awaiting a serious updated product. ... show more

    • Fantastic toothbrush
I first purchased this toothbrush in 2020 after my dentist informed me of issues with my teeth and gums. I kept having problems with severe tarter and plaque build-up and my gums were not the healthiest. On my first trip back to the dentist after using this toothbrush for a few months and the dental hygienist was impressed with how low of build-up I had and asked what I was doing differently. I told her of my recent purchase of this toothbrush and how it made the process of flossing SO MUCH easier and saved a lot of time while getting ready in the morning! The process of getting used to this toothbrush took a little bit of time. My gums continued to bleed off and on for the first week that I started flossing because my mouth was not used to water flossing at all. I love the variable speed dial on the side and was able to increase the speed up to the highest setting over time. It has been a little over 2 years since I purchased this product and my teeth and gums are the healthiest that they have been. Because of this product, I was able to reduce my regular teeth cleaning back down to twice a year and no longer have any gum bleeding, pain, or issues. My teeth are also whiter because this toothbrush gets them so much cleaner! My husband now wants one too! ... show more
