I was worried the material would be flimsy and break in my mouth but it was very sturdy and I was hammering away! I did some research and they said you needed to go to the dentist to remove tartar but I managed to do it after gargling with mouthwash. Be careful when you become a DIY dentist!

Really good set and it helps so much cleaning some plague that my lower front teeth develop regardless of how much I brush and floss. These tools help me to make it from one in-office teeth cleaning to the next one (every 6 months). Hopefully they last long. The quality seems really good.

I am using these in a fairly unconventional application. I like doing scale models and this allows me to see into hard to reach areas without having to pick up or move the piece. The pick ends are great for moving small parts around and for stirring. There is no end to the uses for these things. They were not sterilized which didn’t matter for my needs but if you are using these as dental exam tools, I would imagine that would be preferable. I don’t know that I would recommend these to a professional but to poke around at home, they are fine. They have a great weight to them. The handles are sturdy and they have a good grip. The mirror provides a crisp clear image. The tweezers are great for small parts. I handwashed a couple without incident. Not sure if they would survive an autoclave. Overall, a good kit for oral care and many other tasks.

Full set of tools. Case is very stiff, hard to zip closed. I probably should have chosen a higher priced item. Pieces are heavy, thicker than I would like. For price, you have what you need.

I do a lot of soldering and small electronics work. Having a good set of dental tools with a good point is a must when working with tiny electronics. While I cant say how they would do in someone's mouth, I can say that as a tool in general, they seem to hold up pretty well. They were strong and did not bend. The tips didn't break and they had a really nice point to the tip. The mirror is also a nice addition for what I used them for. When working with electronics, sometimes you need to investigate a little deeper and having a mirror you can get into small places is nice to have. If you need this style of tool for whatever you are working on, I can attest that they should hold up under typical circumstances.

I love clean teeth, and sometimes the time between my dentist visits seems a little too long. The spaces between my lower, front teeth tend to get plaque faster than I'm comfortable with, even despite being a really good brusher. Flossing only takes care of so much... Using these tools has been a great way for me to CAREFULLY scrape away some of the plaque buildup on those lower teeth, and it's so nice to get them feeling a little more clean to tide me over until my next appointment. I've only used two of the "pic" tools (I have no idea what they are called) along with the mirror, because I don't really know what the others are used for. There are several options of differing angles of the "pic"-like tools, which makes it a TON easier for me to reach spaces that would otherwise be pretty awkward to reach because of me doing it myself. Some of these tools are pretty darn sharp, so it's wise to use caution whilst using them, and one would also want to be sure to give them a good cleaning after using so they're ready for the next time. The case they come in is handy and is pretty decent quality. It's not great, but it's not terrible either, and the zipper functions well enough. When placed in the case, the tools are all held in place by their own elastic bands to keep them from clanging around inside (and for safety reasons too, I'm sure), and while the tools themselves are more than sturdy enough to take a good amount of roughhousing, I'm sure the mirror appreciates the space-- plus it's just nice to keep them all organized. No regerts!
