This was a purchase for a spare battery for the Snow Joe snow blower. It was compatible in any means. In any way. In my opinion, this is a much better battery then the one you get with the snow blower. Both of this and the one you received with the he snow blower are the same size and power wise. But this battery I can tell that it lasts more then one hour. It could last maybe for an hour and half. I did almost 3 driveways with the battery. It does work on the battery charger from Snow Joe. Also chargers fast, less then 3 hours and the battery lights on the battery do light up when done charging. The original battery from Snow Joe doesn't light up. You just have to wait for it to o fully charged. It does Wear down fast, if there's heavy snow or wet heavy snow. But still it's a good idea to have a spare back up battery when there's a lot of snow and if you live in the Midwest. Enjoy the review.

I got one of these for my SnowJoe iON8024 snow blower and iONBV leaf blower when one of the original batteries started to lose significant capacity. It worked so well, for so much cheaper, I have ordered multiple more of them. They seem to have even more capacity than the original SnowJoe batteries - though I am comparing them to several year old batteries so that may be unfair. One of these batteries died a little less than a year after I bought it. I contacted the seller about the issue and they responded promptly and sent a replacement in a matter of days.

The battery fit and seemed to power my Snow Joe snow thrower just fine. It had plenty of power and lasted long enough to move 4" of snow from a 30' 3 car driveway. Unfortunately it died half way through cleaning my driveway during a second snow storm with similar snow density and depth. The battery indicated it still had about a half of a charge, but would not power the snow thrower, only the LED light on the thrower. I gave it a full charge and tried it again, but it would still only power the LED light. It was not a problem with the snow thrower, the original battery still worked like a champ. Amazon refunded my money without a hassle eventhough Amazon policy forbids sending damaged or non functioning batteries back to them. I had to dispose of the battery on my own.

Haven’t been able to do any durability testing as I got this for my cordless mower and the grass isn’t up yet. So, in case anyone was wondering this fits Earthwise 40V cordless mowers and is far cheaper than the ones of the same brand name which are also difficult to find now. Mower came with two batteries—one 2.5Ahr and one 4 Ahr. If this one lasts I will get another and so have 2 6 Ahr batteries in the mower which should enable me to finish the lawn in one go instead of having to stop and wait hours for the batteries to recharge.

I needed a replacement battery for my Sun Joe iON16LM 40-volt 16-inch mower. The original SunJoe brand battery lasted only two years. This replacement battery was about $50 cheaper than the brand battery on the day I purchased it. So far, after two months use, it’s working great. It has a higher 6.0Ah vs the SunJoe 4.0Ah. I guess that means it’ll last longer on one charge. I just need it to complete two lawns, and it does. It did not come with a charger which was a-okay with me because it charges fine in the Sun Joe charger. The brand name of my replacement was Waspt sold by Waspt Direct.

The useful life of this battery is short. Perhaps 5 times in the lawnmower? It dies very quickly now, so I'll be buying a verified Snow Joe battery. This was a waste of money and resources.
