  • GORGEOUS! and most importantly ALL STAINLESS INTERIOR!!! Quarter Sheet Cake capacity!
Style: Quarter Size Convection Oven
I searched high and low for months and months to find a good Toaster oven that is small enough to fit on the countertop and has stainless interior. Apparently this is the smaller size out there. It is NOT small by no means. It is big but if t his is the price for having stainless interior so be it. I wish I could buy smaller one but I could not find one. This one though has so many featuers and is gorgeous that is instant keeper. HOW BIG IS IT? It is big. It is about the size of a microwave, the one people usually have above the stove or in other places in the kitchen. Not Quite as wide as the microwave usually span across he entire stove, so this one does not. It is not as wide. HOW DEEP IS IT? oh it is pretty darn deep. but it is because it has a convection in it therefore that thingy sticks out mighty. So overall once you put it on your standard countertop, you will ahve only some 7 or so inches of space in front of it.. not much to put anything on it but also who cares. DOES IT GET HOT? Oh yah baby. It does. But that is why it is called OVEN. It does get hot so you need to strategize! Place away from anything that can burn. But so worth it. WHAT DO I LOVE ABOUT IT?.. = STAINLESS STEEL INTERIOR is an absolute winner feature. You told me it has it and I am sold... then whatever else it has it is a pure bonus. - I love that it has three individual easy to set dials, not confusing like many of those digital ones that are cool looking and work for five minutes and then nothing makes sense anymore.. it has one dial for function: bake, broil.. etc. one dial for temperatures.. one dial for timer.. so operating this is a walk in a park and a breeze. I love how you can set either the top heating element to operate or bottom or both.. many ovens out there don't have that, it is either bottom or both... or other nonsense. I love the looks.. OH MY GOODNESS! It is so gorgeous you just go aaaaaah.. every time you look at it. I Love the stainless shelves and insert... of course nothing less I would expect. I am very very very happy with it. What I would change if I could? If Ic ould have it smaller I would.. but then again.. this is quarter sheet cake capacity yes let's say it again: QUARTER SHEET CAPACITY!! so in other words it takes a cake pan that is size of a quarter sheet cake... if you still don't know what is it, those are the smallest rectangular cakes that you saw at b parties or at the store. That is a good size. It has three tiers so you can fit a lot stuff. I already bought on amazon more stainless pans all stainless like quarter sheet mini muffins and cookie sheets and spring form so I am all set to go big... This thing is really dreamy and I am mesmerized by it. ... show more

  • CAUTION: OVEN DEVELOPED A SHORT VERY SOON AFTER BUYING AND USING
Style: Half Size Convection Oven
This is my second one of this brand oven and same size. Had the other about 10 years and left it in house when I sold and moved. New place has a nice relatively new large oven and range, which works nicely. But missed the convenience of this item and so bought a new one. CONS: Had I known the quality was no longer what it had used to be, would not have ordered this one again. First, the fan makes so much more noise that I cannot stand to use it and therefore, the convection is lost to me. Second, the pan and the racks are so rough and hard to insert, not at all, easy like the old one was. Third, seems to take an unusually long time just to heat up. Fourth: Metal is so thin. that when heating and cooling continues to make excess noices when cooling down or heating up. Quite disconcerting. PRO: Does bake good once up to temp and seems to hold good temperature. Have not used a thermometer to measure accuracy as yet. Exterior, still looks nice as the old one. Bright interior light seems brighter than the old one. Would only recommend with reservations. EDIT ON APRIL 22. WOULD NO LONGER RECOMMEND AT ALL. THIS OVEN HAS BEGUN TO CUT OFF IN THE MIDDLE OF BAKING , EVEN AT 350 DEGREES. WHEN THE DOOR IS OPENED AND THEN CLOSED, THE OVEN COMES BACK ON. I THINK THAT MEANS IT HAS DEVELOPED A SHORT (IN A RATHER SHORT TIME SINCE BUYING) AND IS NO LONGER SAFE. CAUTION TO BUYERS: LOOK ELSEWHERE, THIS MACHINE IS NO LONGER A SAFE HOME PRODUCT ... show more

  • Everything I wanted!
Style: Half Size Convection Oven
I love that I can turn the convection on or off for any setting. It takes a while to heat up to 400 degrees, but it cooks perfectly. I will warn that the instructions to set up say you need 4" clearance on sides and above oven--so measure your space. I don't think this was mentioned in the listing. I am particularly impressed with the packaging. The outer box was quite damaged and the inner styrofoam packing was destroyed, but the oven was in perfect shape. The packaging did it's job! I have only used it a few times so I will try to remember to update this later. I understand it is a big purchase! ... show more

  • Great value commercial countertop convection oven
Style: Half Size Convection Oven
This commercial convection oven is well worth the money. I opened my restaurant thirteen years ago and this is our fourth convection oven. The last two I purchased were Avantco brand from the Webstaurant store and they were in the same price range as this Waring but much inferior. One Avantco was so bad the Webstaurant store gave me a full refund because the door hinges wore out in less than 6 months. My other Avantco is about 3 months old and works ok but has many flaws and lacks the nice features of this Waring unit. The Waring gives the option of setting a timer or infinite on. We run it 8 hours straight, 7 days a week. It can be set for oven only, or for convection. It has a drip tray which makes cleaning 100% easier, especially because we use it as a cheese melter primarily. The control dials are large and designed for easy reading. It also has an interior light which none of our other three convection ovens had. This unit is designed for standard 1/2 sheet baking trays, unlike Avantco's off standard sizing. Also, this oven comes with an NSF approval label, something our local health inspector looks for. I have to mention that it's exciting to see Amazon move into the commercial kitchen equipment arena. It's a dificult challenge to choose the right equipment and Amazon's rating system is a big plus to help us get the best product. Also I have to mention that last year I purchased Waring smoothie blenders to replace the Vita Mix brand I had been using for 12 years (probably went through about 5 or 6 Vita Mix's). The Waring's were about 1/3 the cost of Vita Mix and they work better. ... show more
