I’m a skeptic at heart buying sight-unseen items. But I was absolutely floored with the design, workmanship, and attention to detail of this coat. You will never loss the buttons due to the type of button and the design of which I’ve never seen. You can adjust the wrist closure to keep out the cold along with the inside elastic cuff. Double protection. The zipper is very substantial, is a two way, and easy to engage. It goes all the way up to your chin and there’s a button also on top. The hood is superior than any I’ve ever had. No strings to tie and the design allows not needing them. There is an adjustable stretchy cord that you can’t see but when adjusted, will keep the hood in place. Plus there is a Velcro tab on the top of the hood to keep the hood from falling over your face. Genius!!! The pockets are deep and the fabric is very soft. The fit is snug, keeping the cold out and the warmth in. There is verical zippered pocket on the left inside of the coat that will hold a big phone 📱 Easily!!!!You can make the coat look more like a jacket by adjusting the cord in the waist. This is the way a coat should function and be made. That said, you may want to go up a size if you want to add layers underneath. It’s really not necessary due to the GREAT craftsmanship. I work in lawn and garden. I am outside until Christmas. A couple weeks ago the temperature was in the 20’s. I wore a jacket and stayed inside my hut! When I got home I couldn’t get warm! I ordered this coat and it is wonderful! I had to return the first coat I got because it was too tight. Returned the coat to Kohl’s and got my money back immediately! The coat is incredibly warm! I was surprised at all the features! I can actually wear the hood comfortably! It has great sleeves that have a stockinet to keep the cold out! I really love all the things that keep you warmer! And the color is beautiful! Thank you such a wonderful coat!

I love this jacket so much I just ordered a second one to have once this one finally wears out! It is well made, heavy duty, really warm but not to where you will sweat. I took the fir off as I have horses and need to work outside in the rain and snow. I am a 38DD up top, and first I ordered an XL and it was huge! So they quickly refunded me and I bought a Large. Bingo - fits up top with a thin puffer jacket or thick sweater underneath for extra warmth. It is wind proof, and so far, water proof. Large front pockets I can slide my thick gloves in and out as I work on the ranch. I ran into a nail here and there and so far, no rips or snags! I wear a size 6 or 8 in woman's pants and not very "hippy" and there is allot of room in the hip area of this jacket. That works our well as I have to bend over allot while working. I am able to easily sit if needed, even drive a car/truck. If you have generous hips, this is the jacket for you. I LOVE the length and extra protection from the wind and cold. The hood, wrist and waist all have adjustments if needed. The only one I brought in is the hood around my face. I have used the double zipper feature a few times where I unzipped to get to clothing or pockets underneath the jacket and it is handy since the length is so long. You need to get both zipperheads lined up together at the bottom and then feed in the other side down through both heads and then it zips up easily. I soon realized this is one of those rare occasions where when this jacket finally wears out, I would be so sad so I ordered an extra one to have in the closet for the future. You know what I mean about that perfect clothing item that you have a hard time replacing..? This is it. Hope this helps someone

This coat will be very warm on a cold winters day. It’s made very well and looks great. It does run small in the hips. I bought the size I would normally wear and it fits great at the top but smaller at the hips. Keeping anyway.

I recently bought this coat, looking for something waterproof and warm but at a reasonable price. I live on the Washington coast were it doesn’t get all that cold but it drizzles a lot. I was delightedly surprised when i wore it yeast in misty rain and found it very warm and dry. I recommend it as a good value and a warm winter coat. One small thing, I found the zipper a bit funky but it has big buttons that can easily be done and undone even with gloves on.

I needed a new winter coat and took the chance on buying one online since shopping in my town is horrible. It seems to be well made and sturdy. It's not been cold enough yet to ware it but from the way it feels when I put it on I know it is going to be very warm. I have to have a coat that blocks the wind because I live in a state with wind most of the time. Winter wind will blow right through coats if they aren't made to block it. I made sure this one was made to block it and I can't hardly wait to wear it. Only thing is....the hood is massive! Keeps the wind out of your face but also blocks your vision. I really love a hood so I'll just make do. No problems otherwise. Update: It finally got cold enough to wear this coat. It IS nice and warm and blocks the wind very well. The only thing I DON'T like is the hood....this hood is HORRIBLY HUGE! When pulled up it falls completely over my head AND face. Oh yeah....It blocks the wind but it also blocks my vision. I do prefer a coat with a hood but this is ridiculous! Taking off the fur does not help either. Sorry but I have to take off a couple of stars for this massive hood!

This jacket kept me comfortable and WARM during a week in December in rainy London and Ireland. Temperatures were 39°F and I felt comfortable enough to walk around town and be content. Definitely buy the jacket! I didn’t know what to expect as I was traveling internationally for the first time, and this jacket saved me! Only took this and generally wore layers out, but the jacket was perfect against the weather. Color was perfect and if you like extra room, I’d size up but I am petite and 5’0, and a small was perfect.
