I bought these pants last minute the night before we left to go hiking because I discovered that my favorite pair of prana convertible pants was missing one bottom half of the zip off leg! Ugh. Cue overnight delivery options and scurrying to pick one. Well I am very pleased!! I am 5' 5 "1/2 and approximately 128 lbs I was unsure about buying the small or the medium but I like for my hiking pants to be a little bit snug because as they stretch out during the hike they slip down. And with the seat of the pant hanging low it actually puts more stress on your thigh (quad) leg muscles to 'fight' against the garment you're wearing if you can move freely. (True!!) So I went for the small because if the medium was too big and baggy I would've had to forgo wearing them. But the small fit great with elastic waist AND they actually make me look like I have a butt which is awesome because most snug ish pants just flatten my butt!! SORRY for pics , hard to take body selfies without a mirror. Ha The material is thin, that's ok because I can put fleece leggings underneath, but be able to use them for warm weather camping too. The quality feel is nice, the pockets are great and the stretch is amazing for climbing and squatting. Haven't tested the waterproofing yet, but as long as they repell some water I'll be happy. The leg opening is just big enough to go over top of my hiking boots. If I could change anything I'd make them 1 inch longer but they are NOT too short. Happy camper here. Hope it helps. Update**** wore them 4 days in a row in Feb, north Georgia mountain weather camping and hiking. Don't look worn or dirty, no damage. They are wind resistant to a comfortable temp and in colder conditions I just wore thin leggings underneath. Great budget pant. Look good enough to wear in to town too. Comfortable, stretchy for climbing. I'm going back for more and to hopefully get a convertible pair from this company!

This is my second pair of these pants. They are light and cool, very comfortable. The cargo pockets lie flat on your legs and are perfect for flat things like a phone. The side and rear pockets are roomy too, but overall everything looks sleek for everyday wear without looking too bulky. I bought petite for my short 5’5” frame and they fit great, not too long in the legs.

I really liked the material and how well these fit through the legs, they’re comfortable and look great. However, the sizing runs a bit tight. I wear a size 32 in pants and followed the size chart, so I ordered a Large. While the fit was perfect in the legs, the waist was too snug. I recommend sizing up if you're between sizes or prefer a bit more room at the waist. Ordering a larger size now.

For my fellow low rise fans, do not be fooled by the "low rise" specification on select colors. These are not low rise. I have not worn them a full day yet, but am giving them 3 stars because: 1. The price point is low for this type of hiking pants, 2. Since the waistband is completely elastic, I can fold it over to make the pants low rise - not ideal, but workable, 3. They appear to be pretty well made. I am 5'5", 120 lbs. I bought a small and a medium. The small "just" fits. The medium is almost too roomy, but I wanted space for an underlayer on cold days.

Nice cargo pants for hiking and camping. Cool, somewhat water resistant and quick dry. Nice pockets. The army green is a close match in color to the Scouting America (Boy Scout) uniform pants. I'm usually a women's 18 (US) pant and got both the XL and XXL to see which fit, and they both fit well (elastic waistband) so I kept both. Wore them on a humid, rainy camping trip and was quite happy with them!

So I will start with my size. I am a petite woman ar 5'3" and 116 pounds so I ordered a small despite Amazon suggesting I get a medium, which would also work for me. However, I am perimenopausal so I don't later clothing as early in the cooler months as I used to as I run much warmer than in my younger days so these are actually perfect for me. Now the size small will be kinda tight if I want to lay, so with that being said, the way the sizes run seem perfect for me. I plan on also ordering a medium pair for the layering option when it gets really cold out. Then I will get more longevity out of 2 pairs and the lightweight feel of these will be wonderful in the hotter months and for me, that is extremely important because I don't do too well in heat and when your work uniform is to be all black, that can get pretty rough. These pants are very comfortable they have elastic waist but also loops for belt and they button and zip in the front, but I don't even need a belt with these. With my build the small are just secure enough at the waist that I don't have to bother with a belt. The left leg pocket has a zipper to keep things secure and the right is a flap with velcro which is perfect for my phone. I love everything about the design and sizing of these pants so much I will be ordering more while on sale. Again. For my size and specific needs, these are the best thing since sliced bread!
